Favorite other bands

I recently saw one of their videos on VH-1 Classic and LOVED the song. It was called "Here's Where the Story Ends". I downloaded it the next day. Her voice is very pretty and I like the mellow-ness of the band. I might download some more later on.

The Sundays is a great band- I have all three of their albums and they are all very good. Harriet Wheeler has an angelic voice. 1989 was the year "Hear's Where..." (from their first album) was released. That year was my big music year. The Sundays, Indigo Girls, Edie Brickell & the New Boho's, REM with their album Green, Suzanne Vega at her prime- Stevie's The Other Side of the Mirror and on and on and on. 1988 through 1992 were some really great years for good music.

Scissor Sisters

The answer to this question is pretty obvious:

Walter Egan/The Malibooz
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers/The Traveling Wilburys

All the other artists that make up my music collection fall into the "like" (or "Really like") category rather than "favorite."

I thought you liked the Bee Gees?

Surely you jest. They don't sound like their balls are being tweaked, they sound like their balls are in a vice grip.

[WildInTheWind]

REALLY passionate about? Heart and Led Zeppelin. Of course there are others that I love, but Stevie/Mac, Heart and Zeppelin are the favorites.

Well everyone knows that. But I thought you'd mentioned to me once that you liked them or something.

I hate all grunge-like male singers. thusly, I do like the beegees....
God, I hate that atonal, scruff yelling, one note, grunge bastardness...
*except when Stevie sings that way*

Nope, not moi. If I said so, I was lying through my teeth. I think Brian J. likes them a lot.
