Default Stevie Nicks Tribute Album

Alot of artists out there have an tribute album like the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac,Beatles and Johnny Cash and much more.Say us here at the ledge was to gather our favorite artists together to record Stevie Nicks songs on a box set cd including FM Stevie songs. Who would you all pick to record the Stevie tunes, any suggestions? Hum, Who would sing Standback besides Rod Stewart, or howbout Edge of 17, Who would sing Gypsy,Rhiannon,GDW,Wildheart,Goldenbraid,Room on Fire ,Sourcerer,Nightbird,Stop Draggin my Heart Around,Leather and Lace Duet,After the glitter fades ,hum Shania,Faith or Grechen Wilson,Landslide besides the Dixie Chicks, I love their version,Dreams besides the beautiful will done version from the Corrs, and any others I've missed. Have Fun....

Who's with me?

I'd also want Bonnie Tyler to do it.

this is something I'd have to listen to with a fully loaded 38 at my temple with an option to pull the trigger at the instant it became too excruciating.

That would be at the one second mark, my dear.

I'd love to hear The Arcade Fire get their claws on some Stevie songs, personally.

Presumably, she could sing it all...only it would be more note perfect....

I'd orgasm if Emmylou Harris ever picked up her guitar and sang "Landslide".

I would love to hear Tori Amos sing any of those songs. Most particularly....I think her renditions of After The Glitter Fades and Storms would be incredible.

Any album containing Stevie covers by these singers would be boycotted by me for all of my life. Ugh, I cannot think of anything worse. I'd rather hear an album of Stevie covers by Weird Al.

On a more positive note, I think Beth Gibbons could do an amazing cover of Rock A Little, and Siouxsie Sioux singing Sisters Of The Moon...that would be interesting. How about Johnette Napolitano on Edge of Seventeen? Lastly, Hope Sandoval (Mazzy Star) singing Sara or How Still My Love....oooh...I'd like that.

Mmmm...not her style. Could work, though. She could do a kick ass version of "It's Only Love," that's for sure.
