No, I really AM a moron - I looked at the answers to the one that I tried & I can't make heads or tails of it. Dolt.

So my stupid ass tries another one - this time a 3* difficulty - yeah, it didn't work out.

Isn't each one supposed to have some sort of pattern or something?

No... I don't think they are supposed to make a pattern. You just have to make sure that each horizontal and vertical line has the numbers 1 - 9 and then that each of the 9 smaller squares has those numbers too

I downloaded the game when you posted about it, Pip, and I like it a lot- but it's much easier on the computer because it tells you when you're wrong

I was fascinated last night at work- I have a second job at a bookstore- and we've got like three Sudoku books on display, including a "Sodoku for Dummies"!

Yes... it is easier on the computer. I started off by having it set so it told you when you are wrong. Now I don't have any help at all. I still get stumped with the really difficult ones at times though and end up guessing (usually I'm wrong! lol). I've been working my way through a book of 200!

They are addicted to it at work. It comes inside the newspaper and what they do is photocopy and enlarge it. Now they got me doing it. I only tried the 'kids' one so far but I also have an adult puzzle that I have not tried yet.
We all getting hooked.

It is like a crossword puzzle using only numbers.
