Default Radio Rarities!

Over the past 2 days ive heard Whenever I call you Friend in CVS and I heard Gold in a local chinese food place. About a month ago I heard Friend in Sears. This was way after the Christine McVie hype was over. Also Stand Back on the way home from New Hampshire. Just wanted to say I was very happy to hear Gold and Whenever I call you Friend played.

As I heard, Whenever I Call You Friend is on the monthly Jamba Juice compliation, which is played in every shop in America! I actually heard everytime I was there (which was daily)! I also heard about 5 different Stevie/Fleetwood Mac song on the radio every day (mostly Landslide from the Dance), which surprised me, because here (Germany) they play something from Fleetwood Mac every other week (mostly Little Lies)! I think I should move to America!

I heard Gold on the radio today at work actually! I heard Frozen Love a couple months back......that really shocked me. Even more shocking was the acuostic version of Gold Dust Woman with the If You ever Did Believe at the end. And the most suprising was the "Stevie" version of Imaginary Lover. The guy told the story about it in the end. St. Louis radio has it moments!

Default Radio Still Sucks period.....................................

Radio still sucks for Stevie, in my book. like I said on earlier posts, you will hear Stevie on Classic Rock,Oldies,Easylistening stations and Store PA systems as said here and also Musak.Today radio concentrates on sh2t music like RAP Crap.these radio conglomerates like ClearChannel lock it up to keep this sh2t crap playing..

Radio does suck. I only listen to it at work where I have no choice. Radio or no music. So I pick radio. But since I really only listen to the classic rock stations, I hear some cool songs sometimes.

The classic rock station played Peacekeeper yesterday - shocked the hell out of me! I still hear Friend & Thrown Down at stores a lot.

I was surprised to hear "Hypnotized" while dining at Red Robin a few weeks ago.

And I always tend to hear some rarer song while shopping at a Giant Eagle. I can remember hearing "Angel", a solo Christine song (can't remember now which one it was...) and just last week, "Magnet and Steel". All at different locations.

I was just at Dorney Park with the kids last week and I heard Gypsy, Thrown Down, Little Lies and Dreams all over an eight hour period. The first thing I heard was Gypsy, in the waterpark. The husband was all "Kelly!" and pointing up at the sky, indicating the music. (I had already been singing along for a good two minutes) I gotta give him points for trying though.

Oh and I always hear Trouble, Silver Springs and Landslide 97 in CVS.

I heard Edge this morning - I heard Thrown Down in Kohl's a couple weeks ago.

I just heard Zep's Rock and Roll, but it made me smile, thinking of Stevie!

Is Red Robin any good? One just opened near my house, it smells good!

On the way back from the Stevie concert in Bristow, VA a month ago I heard Bob Welch's "Ebony Eyes" at the gas station. It wasn't the version with Stevie singing back up, but still... I couldn't help but add my own "Your eyes got me..." Stevie harmony part during the chorus.

And there is an outlet mall in Riverhead, NY that always plays some oddball stuff- I've heard "If You Ever Did Believe," "Soul Drifter," and "Trouble" (Lindsey's, not TISL ).
