Default HOLY F%C&!!!!!!!! The LA SHOW from 7/26!!!

WOWIE WOW!!!!! IS THIS WHAT I AM MISSING???? Stevie was ON FIRE FOR THIS SHOW. I have have not heard her sound this good since 1998!!!!!!!!!!!!! This "Stand Back" is the best I have heard since 1985!!!! She phrased the lyrics differently, sang in her range instead of doing that reachy soprano thing. I have heard her sing this song the same exact way for the last 6 years and she changed it up. Absolutely fantastic. I have only listened to that and Fall From Grace so far, but she sounds SO DAMN GOOD. Better than all four Vegas shows, I cannot say enough. And the sound quality is GREAT!!!! Clear synths, clear vocals, clear drums, TORRENT THIS SHOW!!!!

Okay, where did you get it? And I told you so . Stand Back, HAEWAFY, Fall from grace and probably sorcerer were the best performances of this tour so far, and I also said Stand back was the best version ever. Good to hear someone agrees with me.

I thought it was great, too. Really loved Sorcerer, which I normally dislike live, and Stand Back.

Justin- you can get it on Dime A Dozen if you're into torrents.

HA!!! I knew I had read somewhere that a recent show had a great version of Stand Back!!! That is too funny. I just found your post and you are absolutely right. Stevie's voice (in my opinion) can be , well "off" on some nights. Her voice is delicate and her range IS limited- but this is one of those amazing shows that reminded me of Stevie in 1981-83, its that GOOD

I just downloaded to my ipode where it is even better. I am a Stand Back fanatic and this is really good. She phrased it different, the "I Would's' she did in a different key. And the band was great too.

I downloaded at Dimeadozen.org. tons of seeders right now, it torrented in less than an hour!! I am currently seeding..

I also have to add that she actually goes for the high note on the last "TAAAAAAAKKKKKE me home" that she had been singing as a lower "Tay-ay-ay-ay-ake me home" all summer! In general I think this is THE definitive recording of the 2005 tours- both performance-wise and quality-wise. Her voice has a, for lack of a better term, "sweetly crisp" quality to it. Even moreso than usual.

You LACA bitches lucked out! . But us NY/NJ/PA bitches got more shows.

Are mp3s available anywhere?
I don't usually bother with full shows, because it's extremely time-consuming (another dial-up dinosaur here), but this one sounds like it would be more than worth the time!
