I actually liked the episode that aired the week before the finale - the one where Robert smoked with Pat, Amy's mom - it was damn funny.
I heard that one was good, gotta see it!

I thought Robert was particularly funny in this episode.

^ I gotta ask - how did Growing Pains push the envelope? Or Cheers or The Nanny? Or Peewee?

I thought the last episode was disappointing. IMO the first two episodes of the season - with Frank & Marie moving away & then moving right back - would have been the best finale. Plus those two episodes were funny.

The show is on in syndication a few times a day here, and, I imagine, everywhere.

I never liked the show, but they sure like their guest star celebs, don't they.

I remember Buffalo Bill. The press was aflutter over whether the public would buy into a main character who wasn't likeable.

What on earth was groundbreaking on My Mother The Car?
