Reportedly, Simon was just ad-libbing the lyrics when they hit the recording studio for that song, but some argue it's probably about *ahem* male anatomy.

Me too, but I have a little place in my heart for Koo Koo. And the cover is seriously fab.

KooKoo kicks ass and that cover is to die for. Such a dark urban album, I love it. The videos are just as fab and so ****ing weird.

Me too. Although there's definitely some stuff from that era that I can't listen too any more. Alice In Chains are one. I thought they were great at the time, but now I find them a bit annoying. Still, very sad the way Layne Staley died.

Free Bird makes me wish I had a razor on hand to slit my wrists with. The Eagles drive me bonkers, too. My mother drove me nucking futs with them as a kid and now I cringe whenever I hear them. Overrated, overplayed, and as dull as dishwater, imo.

Is it one word? Me bad.
The videos for KooKoo are awesome. I stole the Video Collection from my sister in law when I discovered they were on that!
She ain't getting it back either!

My copy is so worn out, it's practically black and white. She should team up with Giger again, those two were WEIRD together.

Yeah, it's one word, but I only know that because I studied the album cover for hours on end as a child. I'm sad that it isn't being remastered with Def Dumb and Blonde and Debravation, the sound on the CD sounds as if it was ripped from an actual LP. You can even hear vinyl pops during Military Rap, Chrome, and Oasis!

Also, Butthole Surfers, Electriclarryland, I liked that. Ahem.
Don't worry we can't all like the same things although not all of it is three-chord punk I-Hate-Myself-And-Want-To-Die stuff. For example, Afghan Whigs were really soulful, they were hugely influenced by old Motown records and Prince, and J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr is still an incredible guitarist, and unlike a lot of grunge artists always loved doing really, long spine-tingling solos.

PJ Harvey is fantastic - one of my faves. If you haven't got it you should get Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea. I think it's her best.

I only have Kookoo on vinyl sadly. I'm still kicking myself for not buying it when I could, now it's so hard to get on CD!

I'm such an idiot. I wish I bought Mary Margaret O'Hara's Miss America on CD too, another that's impossible to find these days.

That's the one I was listening to most, I think. Not to familiar with Afghan Whigs. sounds better. I mainly know all the people you would hear around. Pearljam and Soundgarden and Nirvana all made me want to kill myself. I hate that. And then there were the imitators, where all the men had the same voice.
