Sadly, they chose the mix you hear on the SYW album. Some people don't like the WOS version -- I find it to be far more superior to the album version.

I think The Leg might have them up for download. I'll have to check --

If you want to hear an excellent version of Stevie on Big Love, try and track down Stevie and Lindsey on David Letterman back in 1998 after they were inducted into the R&RHOF. It's amazing

*swoon*

I want them to ditch Big Love, but if Stevie starts singing on it again, they can keep it. Love love love the ones where she sang on it.

The Nightmare "vocal special mix" rocks. I also looooove the Long Way to Go 12" extended remix. Honorable mention: the Big Love remix with the extra Stevie vocals, the Tracy Young remix of POTU, and the so-called Wall of Sound version of Thrown Down. I'm not sure if that counts as a remix. The girls' backup vocals needed to stay on that, though (shutup Josh ).

Oooh la la. That was fabu. Miss Hoo Ha had on the red Richard Tyler dress. The best part ? The end, when out of nowhere she did that completely pointless slow motion spin. I about fell off the bed. AWESOME

Hey! I love everything about that mix. It should have been on TISL. I loathe the SYW version, but the "Wall of Sound" version kicks ass. Lindsey's vocals are quite special and so are hers.

Is this the one that sounds like a rough mix and has the lyrics "this is not the world, not the world, not the real world"? If not I MUST have this. The Nightmare is only like my favorite song ever Send please!!

Do you remember when Letterman cut to commercial and came back just as soon as she was ending Rhiannon? I got *chills* because she was belting that ****er out.

You're making me want to go and watch it. She was RADIANT. I love that dress. Richard Tyler suits her well -- I know a lot of people didn't care for that dress but she was gorgeous.

Oh, ok! Agreed. (Except I don't loathe the SYW version, I just think it's lackluster in comparison.) I thought I remembered you saying the backup singers' parts were tacky and ruined the song . Maybe it was someone else.
