Default Songs you didn't like initially

I don't know about y'all, but there are a whole slew of Stevie songs (solo and with FM) that I didn't like at first but grew to either like or love.

I disliked at first but wound up loving-
"Juliet" (mostly the outtake, though)
"Bombay Sapphires" (I prefer the demo of this one, too)
"Fire Burning"
"Kick It"
"Sable on Blond" (I'm totally sold on this one!!!)
"Angel" (I cannot figure out why I didn't like this song at first!)
"Straight Back"
"Welcome to the Room...Sara" (I think listening to everyone else's complaints made me think at first that I wasn't supposed to like it)
"No Questions Asked"

I disliked at first but wound up liking-
"Love Changes"
"It's Only Love"
"Love is Like a River"
"I Can't Wait"

I think there are others but those came to mind first.

How about y'all?

Songs I've come to love:
Sorcerer, I hated this one at first, now I'm hooked
Paper Doll
Planets of the Universe- I always loved the Rumours version, it took time for the TISL one to grow on me
Rose Garden
Street Angel- I have no idea why I didn't like this, it's one of my favorites now
Blue Denim- same thing as SA
Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You?

Songs I've come to like:
After the glitter fades
Desert Angel

Bombay Sapphires is the ultimate example of this for me. Bored out of my skull at first, love it now.

Songs I didn't like initially, but now I love:

The Highwayman & Leather and Lace: I used to loathe Henley and didn't even give these songs a chance. I still don't like Henley though.
Sister Honey
Beauty and the Beast
The Nightmare
Paper Doll
Alice
Juliet

Great topic!

I used to not like...but now love...

Bella Donna - WTF is she talking about?! Now I get it.

After The Glitter Fades - too country western sounding to my then childish tastes.

Beauty & The Beast - I never much cared for this song....it wasn't until I could relate to it on a personal level...I had to devastate another person to realize the beauty of this song. And I did change...only it was too late.

I Will Run To You - Same as above....I had to mature and find a way to relate the lyrics to my own experiences.

Jane - Once I was able to tune out the 'forgotten chimpanzee' line, I loved this song. There are angels here on Earth.

I guess that's it....any other songs that I didn't like, I still don't like.

The only ones I can think of that I didn't like on first hearing them, and now I really like them are:

"Reconsider Me"
"Beauty and the Beast"

There's tons of songs that I feel this way about. I fell in love instantly, at young age, with her hits. Most other songs have had to grow on me. Honestly, a shorter list would be songs I did like instantly. Which include the hits, plus, like Kick It...
I Can't Wait...I thought this was incredibly icky cheesy at first, now I love it.
Bella Donna -
actually, the list goes on and on, and some songs still haven't grown on me. But you have to remember, I only got all of Stevie's solo albums in their entirety last year. Before that, the only ones I had the full album of were Street Angel (my first full, non greatest hits purchase) and TISL, when it came out. Honestly, I still haven't fully delved into Wild Heart....

Straight Back - I used to think this sounded more "Stevie" than "Mac." I guess it still does, but I adore it now.

Juliet - all of a sudden I fell in love with this one; it was only a few weeks ago.

Sable On Blonde - I used to think it was "eh" but now it's fab.

In addition to the base and keyboards, the layered vocals are rich. Almost always I love Stevie's songs with layered vocals, especially when parts are faint, like in Battle Of The dragon.
I can't imagine the back-up vocals without Christine, much as I like Lori and Sharon. And I'd hate it if it had Lindsey's SYW altered voice like on RTTG.
