Hey, I agree, but how does that passage we were originally talking about prove your equation? Where was that taken from and what is the context, time frame, and surrounding information? That was not a statement made out of the blue. Do either of you know the rest of the equation? Like I pointed out before, the spoken word and the written word are different. Putting up some words out of context to prove something you believe but don't know the full picture of, does not make a balanced equation. If you can show me the rest of where you took those words from, I would agree it all adds up if the context is supportive. I like to be properly informed so I'd like to stand corrected if the supporting details show she was talking directly and totally about Waddy there. When I re-read Waddy's interview here from the link that was provided, it did not change my view. I looked at the entire context of his interview and came away with a the same opinion I had about Stevie and Waddy and some of the other people he talked about. If you can give me a link and I can read the context of that other passage we were discussing, maybe that would bring me around.

Seems this is not just simple math but more like solving equations using unknowns. Algebra and simple addition are not the same operation.

If I understood correctly... and maybe I didn't... you were expressing the opinion that, while Stevie mentions Waddy specifically in the 'Timespace' liner notes, it is, instead, Lindsey she's talking about.

But I think sometimes a spade is just a spade.

You got me? I have no idea what passage you are even talking about now? All that I was saying was that in her liner notes for "If Anyone Falls" she talks about someone who fits Waddy's description. If we are not talking about the same thing I am sorry. I don't care if Stevie was in love with or not in love Waddy. It is just that it seems to fit Waddy to a T.
Maybe she really was talking about Mick and I just did not pick up on it. Silly me.

Oh, no! Are we going back to the Timespace liner notes again?

As I said before, timing, context, ect. are part of the equation. I'll stick with algebra and you can do sums. It's all good.

The 'Timespace' quote was the "original passage" you were referring to when you said the following, right?

That quote from 'Timespace' was definitely what Pattie was commenting on when she said, "I think she is talking about Waddy." And that was the comment I was replying to.

Or did Pattie and I get completely lost in the proverbial Forest of Black Roses?

Hey Tiff!! Well you won't be too impressed with my pix I'm afraid--I've seen yours!! LOL!! No comparing....... If Stevie would have opened her eyes on a few more I would have been happier!! As for the bracelet--I didn't see it up close, but Stevie wore it for the rest of Edge...it was one of those really sparkly crystal bracelets and she told me it had "s" es on it somehow......like the design....the crystals were shaped in "s" es........she was SOOOOO thrilled that she took it though!! LOL!! She kept going--Stevie is wearing my bracelet It was cool!! You know its funny because I have a crystal bracelet with flower shapes on it and I swear Stevie looked at it at one of the SYW shows and she also looked at it last night....so I thought that was really funny when my friend pulled that bracelet out!! Okay--don't laugh too hard--but it was during when she was also shaking my hand--and I actually looked at my own wrist because I was like--where did she get that bracelet from!! ha ha Okay--I KNOW Stevie wouldn't rip off my bracelet--but I was thinking--did mine fall off somehow?? Yeah I'm an idiot!! And then my friend told me that she had given it to her........ I really wanted to give her something too but I can never think of anything......... I was actually going to get her a moon pendant like one that I bought myself in the past--but when I went to look for it it was gone........and I don't even know if she would have taken it or not......

I got to the 19th page finally...

I'm so happy she's covering a Led Zeppelin song, her artistic vitality keeps surprising me and makes me glad she's having so much fun doing what she loves.

About the Waddy enigma, it seems more to me she's saying something cute to all the band members she feels like family but you never know. By the way, among the three I hope it's Brett, he's way cuter.

Nah, I bet your pictures turned out great! That's really cool she took the bracelet and slipped it on right then. That must have made your friend very happy .

no this is all about the timespace if anyone falls liner note.

they are just saying you should "read between the lines."

i guess for now on when stevie mentions a guy (mick, waddy, don, etc.) we should just ALL ignore it and realize that she is really talking about LINDSEY!

It's not really that. I think she gives a description of this "lover" and, and on into the description discusses being on stage with him and all and then says his name "WADDY"... Why would she be describing someone else all this time, and then all of a sudden mention Waddy.... it's like her saying "oh yes I loved Lindsey, I loved watching him on stage every night..he was so frail, yet so strong...when Waddy was with me it was incredible.. " It makes no sense
