Awww, I just walked out to go to work, and it looks like someone took my bike. Dang, I just got it. For free, but still.

Does anyone play raquetball? I go to the gym 4 or 5 days a week and lift weights but I decided I needed something more so I started playing raquetball 2 or 3 days a week too. It's a great workout... I'm completely exhausted after an hour!

Yeah, I'm pretty mad, sad. The bad part is, I live around the back through 2 gates - like, you wouldn't know my yard was there, and you have to go to the back of the driveway, and through two gates to even see it. Kind of creeps me out. Quite a bit, in fact. I was totally using that bike, a lot, too. Great. Now I'm fat and I don't have a bike!

That is creepy - and again, a lot like what happened to me. I was totally creeped out because I was home when it was stolen - I didn't even realize thieves were feverishly working away cutting my bike lock etc

Stupid thieves. That really pisses me off....did you call the cops or are you even going to bother? I say that because they usually don't do a damn thing about bike thefts...

No - I didn't even know the serial number. I'll just check the pawn shop up the street from my house. Yeah, here in Oakland, bike theft isn't a real priority for police. Probably most places it isn't.

Thanks. yeah, a car would be worse. I was getting so spoiled with that bike, it was great - I could do all my stuff faster, and go farther than when walking or blading. Plus use it for exercise, too. oh, well.

Well, 2 months since the last post. How's everyone doing?

I'm...chubby. Not really - I haven't gained but I haven't lost. I have NOT been working out, which depresses me. I feel sluggish & gross & flabby & tired.

I am vowing to get to the gym today & go at least 3 times a week from now on.

I was doing great but then started working overtime and missed a week and went once the next week. But last week I went three times again. I've been once this week so far and am planning to go today. I'm with you, Paula, I want to get there at least 3x a week. I need at least that to feel and look how I want to. Repeat after me, "I am a badass." Also, not gaining is a big deal, especially when there's beer to be drunk and barbeque to be consumed.

I'm getting really strong and I love that.

Hmm...that sounds exaclty like me.

In fact the other day I was walking and there was this weird sensation on my stomach I've never felt before - I realized it may have been a bit of flab jiggling - I FREAKED out - I've NEVER felt that before - I've always been lucky to not have a belly....

yikes.

But lets see...I have started playing tennis - played last weekend...

And I joined a softball team! That will be a of activity - I rode my bike to our first practice

I'm still eating like crap though - so that's keeping me from shedding the pounds faster...

I am planning on going back to the gym tonight -and this weekend I have a bike ride planned AND softball practice
