I agree that the reporter was a jackass. That being said I am tired of Tom being such a baby about everything. I mean he got sprayed with water at his movie premier, get the f*ck over it, go back to your mansion and shut it.

I don't deny all that, even though I love Tom. Really, I just feel sad for him, because I think he's a pretty good person (scientology notwithstanding, though I think he likes it because he wants to help himself be a better person), and I feel bad for him that someone seemingly pretty decent has to hide his sexuality because of society's negative imposition. I feel like some of his strange and negative actions are almost solely because of this stricture. *hoping I didn't make up the word stricture* Anyway, I can see how some don't like him and that's he's not the best actor ever, but still I hold my point.

It's all a matter of whether he puts more stock in his career or being true to himself in regards to his sexuality. Any man who would pay a woman and contract a woman for beard services is deeply insecure and it is actually sad. I feel bad for him. I also feel bad for him because he doesn't seem to know what kind of damage his current behavior is causing because of the simple fact tha the didn't act like such a tard when he was with the lovely Kidman. It's jarring to people.

And I just read that Batman only made $46 million. I bet TomKat had something to do with such poor returns, which sucks and it doesn't bode well for War of the Worlds...

I somewhat agree, but I also think throughout his life it would have been an incredible challenge for him to be true to himself and still had the career he has had. I tend to agree about the beard service, but, with the choices he's made, I would think it would be nearly impossible not to do the same, sadly. At this point he's just been a great planner.
I am sad, too, that he is acting kind of like a tard right now. I'm also very suprised. I guess, and I'm sad again for the fact that you can only keep that kind of thing under wraps for so long. I truly hope that soon, because of the different climate, he will feel he can be more honest with the world. I hope he's smart enough to avoid a giant stupid scandal in favor of revealing the truth. But, I kind of doubt it. Just thinking about the nature of the career he has built has me shuddering, so I'm sure he's shaking in his boots.
But, if he did have the courage, I think - it would be a huge boon to....I dunno. This might sound dumb, but I think he's kind of the Rock Hudson of now. Like, people who don't know would never be able to imagine him in certain ways. You know, all his roles are so...Manly/Sporty. But, if they could, wouldn't that be wonderful?

He's going overboard nowadays, though, and it's freaking the flabby asses of moviegoers everywhere.

Forgive my ignorance, but why DO so many peoples claim TC is gay? Is there proof or something? Is this just a guess, or a hunch?

I am not a fan of his, but I just never understood how all these accusation got started in the first place. He does not seem gay at all to me. He does not seem the least bit effeminate to me either, does he to you? (I know that that is not a prerequisite)

Have I missed something? Has he been linked to male lovers? Are people just assuming? What is the basis of these claims that he is gay?

Why would Nichole play along with this, what would be in it for her? She is gorgeous and could probably get any man she wanted, why would she want to be in that situation?

Thanks for any insight you can share with me on this one. This has always baffled me. There has to be more to the story that I am not aware of.

I think Batman was not going to be a 100 million opening weekend kind of movie.

I do think, however, that War of the Worlds will be a huge opener assuming nothing else huge is opening that weekend. I mean that has Summer blockbuster written all over it

The box office has been down for 17 weeks straight, not even Star Wars could lift it, the likes of Tom Cruise and his tard-like behavior won't help it. I bet it'll get something like Batman and Mr. and Mrs. Smith, not much more. It's going to have lots of competition with Batman, Bewitched, Herbie, and Land of the Dead, imo. Their last movie together didn't so hot for a Cruise/Spielberg flick.
