1) What are your first and middle names? jill pauline

2) Were you named after anyone? i was supposed to be named lisa marie after lisa marie presley, & my dad wanted to name me aretha <<< i swear to god, i did get my middle name pauline from a great aunt that i never met~

3) Do you like your name? i like my 1st name, hate my middle name, i usually won't tell anyone what it is, i just go by the initial P.~

4) If you could rename yourself, what would you choose? something stevie like, maybe rhiannon, sara hmmmmm something like that~

5) Do you have friends/acquaintances who share your name? i have only met 2 other jill's in my whole life, well in person, tho i have met some online~

6) What are the names of your three closest friends? nichole, gina & mikey~

7) What are your favorite names? stevie of course, but for a boy i like dylan (my sons name) dane & nick~ for girls i like gabrielle, mckenna, melanie & hadley~

2) Were you named after anyone? Yes, my Mom was a Patricia and I was born the Saturday before Mother's Day so there you go. Mary was her sister.

3) Do you like your name? It's OK.

4) If you could rename yourself, what would you choose? No idea

5) Do you have friends/acquaintances who share your name? No friends, but I always seem to work with someone who has my name.

6) What are the names of your three closest friends? Kim and Donna

7) What are your favorite names? I really like the name Michael for a boy. For a girl I don't know.

My mother had several friends who had older daughters named Debbie and Deborah.

3) Do you like your name?

I use to change the spelling to the longer version of Deborah when I was in middle school

I like my name now that I am older.

4) If you could rename yourself, what would you choose?

Probably Stephanie Lynn Trump........so I can be left some money when pops passes on

There are several names I liked as a teenager but I think Debra suits me now that I am a much older and a little wiser woman

Not since I left high school.

Rosa, Diana and Mary

Just Natasha:my paternal great-grandmother

Not crazy about it. Jennifer is far too common, but it'll do. I'm just 'Jen' though, and I have adapted to being a Jen.

Juliet or Cassandra, or one of my middle names.

Yes.

Teresia, Glenn, Janet.

I am so proud of my heritage & the fact that my dad came to the US to make a batter life for himself & his family, I didn't want to lose my family name completely. Dad was thrilled when I told him that I was legally making it my middle name.

My parents didn't give me a middle name when I was born, but when I was in 8th grade, I decided I wanted a middle name, and I wanted it to be my paternal grandma's name. So my parents helped me do all the paperwork to legally give me a middle name.

I didn't change my name when I got married. I still use my maiden name. It's been 6 years. I just couldn't bring myself to change my name.

I used to hate it, but I'm warming up to it. I still think it sounds like I should be a character on Dynasty, though.

Dunno. I've always liked the name Henry, though.

Why would you change it, keep it and add your married name after

That's what I did, it's long but it works, especially since my dad never had any sons (4 daughters), to carry on the family name.

Ann is my mom's middle name...it's also now my daughter's middle name

It's ok. I don't really like "becky" but it's what people call me. Rebecca is alot prettier.

Something unusual and beautiful

Not really. I've known some beckys but never really been close to them

Olivia (my daughters name), Ayrianna (sp?), Dylan, Rhiannon of course, Caleb, Emma, Victoria......I tend to like longer names for girls..with A's in them

3) Do you like your name?I like it now but hated it when I was young. My dad wouldn't let my mom name me Lorelei---but I have been using Lorelei ever since The Styx song came out and my mom said-" hey,I almost named you Lorelei or Claudia" Egads I am glad she didn't choose Claudia

Firstly allow me to say hi, since i rarely post but I do read a lot. It's almost 6.30am UK time and I'm still not asleep so thanks for providing me with entertainment!

1) What are your first and middle names? Nicola, no middle name, I'm usually called Nicki

2) Were you named after anyone? No, altho my Mum wanted me to have the middle name Mary for my nana but my Dad preferred Ann...I got neither

3) Do you like your name? No. No offence to anyone with the name, just personally I dont like it. I rarely hear it since it is always shortened to Nic or Nicki

4) If you could rename yourself, what would you choose? I dont know, since I dislike my name but my parents DID choose it....I think I'd go for a really interesting middle name,but I cant think of any good ones rights now

5) Do you have friends/acquaintances who share your name? yes, my best friend is called Nicola, and I have known several in school and work with two

Something with a little more pizazz. See #7. Oddly, I definitely look like a "Mike". Of all the ppl in my life who have gotten my name wrong, 85% of them have called me Mike!
