I was having this conversation with a Mac friend of mine the other day when I showed him the pictures I had taken when I met Mick and Lnidsey back on the SYW tour. He got all excited and asked if I had ever mer Stevie. I said no, that she never really goes out in public without alot of security around her. I told him I would love to meet her someday, but unless you win a contest or something like that, maybe get lucky enough to get backstage, its really hard to get near her. And that's probably a good thing with all of the weirdos out there.

It's all timing - being at the right place at the right time. She was much more approachible early in her career, but as she got "more famous" with her solo albumns she got more insulated. Very difficult now. The best way (if only for a moment) is on the EOS hand shaking at the front of the stage. (Unless you clean her airducts, are her poolman, wash her dogs, or work for her) and those people don't care. Very Cool you got to meet a few of the Mac !

I live in Los Angeles and know some people and was fortunate enough to get a meet and greet pass for the second leg of the SYW tour so I have met her! It was very brief, as there was a line of people and basically 5 people at a time went up and got a picture taken with the band. I'll tell the story on here some day when I have more time! I'll NEVER forget that moment.

Met her back in 1996 in Columbus, Ohio of all places. Not a meet and greet. Very tiny, little make-up (if any), very gracious, extremely beautiful. Talked with her for awhile about her, me, her music, other people's music.... etc...etc.... and then just hung out with her and the entourage. A night I will never forget

That is one of the best stories I've heard for sure. WHen I met both Mick and Lindsey back in '03, they were both very gracious and polite. I spoke with each of them for about 10 minutes, then they were nice enough to let me have a picture taken with them. I think one real important thing when one sets out to meet one of the band is to have the attitude that all I want is a couple minutes of your time, be polite, and go on your way. that way, I believe the experience is best for both fan and artist.
