Bowie, Sting, Stevie Nicks make AARP "Hot 50" list
We once lovingly referred to Ozzfest's reunion of Black Sabbath and Judas Priest as "Geezer Rock." Of course we all know that 40 is the new 30 and 50 is the new 40. I know, some of you youngsters reading this can't even contemplate those numbers. But, God willing, we will all get old. So, its cool to be reminded that folks can still turn heads after 50! The AARP has put out its "Hot 50" list and a few "rockers" like Sting, Bowie and Stevie Nicks made the list.

"The Hot Fifty list runs the gamut, from classic beauties to cool crooners," said AARP The Magazine Editor Steve Slon. "But what all of them have in common is that their appeal goes beyond just looks. These people all have a charisma, an unquantifiable 'it,' that simply draws you to them."

I can't believe no one from Sabbath made the cut...

Love your Stewie icon, btw!!

Somehow, I'm not sure Stevie is gonna be too excited about making this list. I remember her remarks in the People Magazine (Most Beautiful People issue) 7 years ago (?). She said something about turning 50 ---"Ick---geritol and everything"...something like that, anyway.

Then again, hopefully she'll really be flattered. You can't stop time, and ya might as well still be hot!

Bill Clinton made the list???

Am I the only one that doesn't find him even remotely attractive?

No, I don't think he is attractive at all. Compared to other Presidents though I would say he is one of the more attractive.

I think Bill Clinton's hot. It's the power thing. Plus, he has good taste in music.

Can't really say I find Bill Cinton attractive, but it depends by the fact that I have a vivid memory of his speech at Democratic convention (in 1988 maybe...?). There was already a sort of smart ambiguity in him that I don't find really appealing...

About the list, way to go Stevie!

[diamondsnake]

I think Kirstie Alley should have been on the list!
