That's great, but I don't think it's accurate??? There were a lot of empty seats on Friday nite, I was surrounded by them, in the rear orchestra....or maybe, hopefully, a lot of scalpers had to EAT their tix!

I saw lots of empty seats. There were two next to us in the fifth row Friday night.

Well, just because the people never showed up doesn't mean the tickets weren't sold. Anyone who had access to Stevie tickets and didn't show up is a fool though!

She probably had a guarantee for the 4 night stretch... probably at least half was her guarantee, if not more, then the concession sales she would take a large percentage as well.

*sigh* That's pretty awesome. So, in four days, Stevie made at least 500,000 something dollars....
nice work, if you can get it.

I believe it for Saturday. We were waiting for good tickets to come up last minute, and started getting a bit nervous when the box office people said they only had 20 seats left in the whole house. This was around 5:00. The other nights there were a bunch of empties in the side sections of the balconies though. It definitely looked like she sold well, but every last seat? Oh well... if they're calling all 4 shows sellouts, it bodes well for her returning .

Actually, I had a ticket and was unable to go because I eventually realized that I couldn't afford the trip to Vegas. I gave the ticket to a Las Vegas charity to find a client or volunteer to go, but maybe they weren't successful. Therefore, my seat would have been empty, but the ticket was sold.

How that makes me a fool, I'm not sure.

I suspect her fee was a million. 250 a night is peanuts in Vegas. They make their money on the gambling, food, and beverage.

I know that a few of my friends had to "eat" several pairs of tickets. They were coming in from England, but had to cancel last minute.
