It was pretty full, though not a sellout. There were empty seats here and there. The majority of people there were tourists, I'm sure.

Thanks to all for the reviews! I'm banging my head on the wall because I'd like to be there too, but I'm really happy you're having a great time. About the setlist, I can't wait to listen (and hopefully watch ) the concert, especially If Anyone Falls, How Still My Love and Beauty And The Beast.

A few of my friends were in the upper levels of orchestra, and they said there was a few open seats, but not many. And of course Vegas shows are always full of annoying, overbearing tourists (except Ledgies of course).

I doubt. Why spend all that dough for plane tickets, hotel, and all that when she will be doing the same thing this summer? I was seriously going to fly out this weekend if it was 'something different'.

I do admit I would be all giddy if I were her eye candy again.

I'm not sure why everyone's jumping on you! I didn't think you said anything too appalling. Since the "lol" smiley was after your comment about people not getting to listen to it if they were complaining, I took it as a joke, and as such not anything to go ballistic over. Am I right?

this has been a day of this with Jamie. This particular post you quoted had to do with her making the following statement, and IMO, being very serious about it. I think you're confusing a LOL with a smiley or something said with a wink.

The only people allowed to get a boot of this show are ones who haven't been Bitching about it! ...God, if I could only enforce that rule...

then there were the other comments about everyone chilling and a suggestion that everyone who complained about the setlist last night were jealous. Going over to Mick's site and saying nasty things about the people on this site. Another post here where she "prayed to God that Stevie didn't know about this site". Its been Jamie day here on the Ledge and its difficult to come into the end of this without reading through the other threads and knowing what's gone on all day.

But then again, most of this started over a thread detailing the setlist one song at a time over a 2 hour period and some fans not being happy with and voicing disappointment with the setlist. After all the hype Stevie gave it about it being like nothing they've ever seen and pulling out all the gems (paraphrasing) and all the died in the wool fans, blah blah blah. You had to be there or read how the thread unfolded and the anticipation involved and the first 10 songs being oldies and revealed one song at a time.

Glad you're having a good time at the shows...not that I ever thought you wouldn't

I haven't read right to the end of this thread yet - I'm responding to this first. So if others have already said what I'm about to say, I apologize.

But Jamie - you keep on coming in here, hurling an insult at us, and then a few posts later say you want to be friends. I'm sorry if I don't get it. The last one was something to the effect of "if you guys think the show sucked so much, why would you want the boot?" Well, none of us that weren't in Vegas ever said the show SUCKED. How would we know? All we did was express disappointment at the set list. I'm sorry, once again, if you disagreed, or thought it was harsh of us to express our disappointment.

Still of the Night was sung well, though she did have a little trouble with some of the higher notes, which she sang differently, like the "standing in the doorway" part. It was closer to how she sung it in her early demos, kind of understated. But there were some lyric variations in that part, "go on...get out!" The rockier songs, like Sorcerer, tended to drown her out.

Rhiannon was on par with how she's basically done it for the last two tours. Again, I was really impressed with the new drummer who wasn't pounding away like a madman, allowing for a clean, nicely defined rhythm. There were some percussive elements at the end that were nice to the ears too. Scott Plunkett's piano intro was new, and a little darker than usual. But it was concise and received a loud ovation. Stevie was wearing the black dress with a chiffon layered wrap with long sleeves.

Daniel's review was so detailed and descriptive that I'm a little intimidated now! I'll post something though - but today I've been enjoying Vegas, baby! Right now we're chilling and waiting for Wldhrt315 (Tiffany) to arrive. It's coming, promise, but not 'til tomorrow, probably.
