Really? You mean the secret's out? LOL I'll have to catch the rerun! El Mercado IS awesome!! I've never had a bad meal there. And their margs are deadly.

Watching Jessica savor that chicken burrito was hilarious! I don't know what makes them so special, but they are damn good!

My food addiction? Peanut butter. I have to eat some every day, or at least every other day. In fact, just a few minutes ago, I had 1/2 a pb&j sammich. I eat the reduced fat Jif.

It's out. Much like our super-secret New Jersey hole-in-the-wall for good seafood. I don't often eat it but their shrimp are out of this world as are their homemade sauces (it's called Ike's). Thanks, Food TV...for ruining secret little spots everywhere

My mom used to give me celery with PB. I used to eat the PB out and throw away the celery

I just read about this in a book called "Untangling my Chopsticks: A Culinary Journey Through Kyoto" (or something like that...I'm too lazy to get the book). She's a food writer so she gives you the recepies at the end of each chapter, so I'm planning to try it!

And since I've been doing the Japanese thing my addictions of the moment are homemade miso soup and a panfried chicken dish where you marinate chicken strips in honey, shoyu (a type of soy sauce), oil, scallions, and sesame seeds for 20 minutes, pan fry it, and serve over rice. YUM!

Wow I didn't even know that was Japanese. My dad used to make that a lot - my favourite dish of his!

Mmm...miso. Salty goodness.

For dark chocolate try Ghirardelli double chocolate chips, they are just heaven. This week the Dove Promises were on sale 2 for $5 at Stop and Shop, score!

I love cheese too. Ice cream, mmmm.

Extremely dark chocolate, those Swiss bars, what is it, 80%?

And curries. That's my comfortfood: a good curry. Love to make indian curry, but simple dutch "kip met kerrie" is what I have when I really need some comfort

Addictions:
- cheese! Any kind really, I love blue cheese just as much as dutch cheese.
- salt liqorice. (sp?!)
- herring in mustard sauce.. I ate so much of it one time it I got sick, and now I can't really eat it anymore. Shame.

You're in a good place liking cheese. I was in Amsterdam for work years ago and I loved the breakfast with the cheeses and breads. Yummy.

I'm addicted to onion soup, especially when you put some cheese and white bread on top of it to compensate for the overt healthiness.

Hmm I have this addiction to cereal.

My favorite kind of all time is cracklin oat bran but I also love the kashi go lean cruch, the good friends with raisins, raisin bran crunch, peanut butter toast crunch and honey bunches of oats. I prefer them with vanilla soy milk. That stuff is to die for.

I also love smores and the chocolate pop-tarts. I could eat those everday but dont since they are bad for me.

Any type of blizzard from dairy queen but my favorites are the oreo and strawberry cheesequake. Good stuff!

I love bacon!! I could eat that everyday and when I was on atkins I ate it for one year straight. I try to only eat it once a week now.

Ranch is my downfall. It goes with everything!

I am the same way with bacon. How is it possible for something to taste so good! I have a chef friend who added bacon to everything. He would roast potatoes with garlic, butter and LITTLE BITS OF BACON!!! So good! Yeah... bacon... *wipes the drool from his chin*

Other things I crave:
Sour candies (like gummies and stuff with that dreamy sour powder on them!!!)
Sushi (someone mentioned Miso! I LOVE MISO!!! and Shrimp Tempura too. Could live on the stuff)
Chips and Dip (quite possibly the worst thing a person can eat, but it is so good)
Chocolate
Lemon Tart (anything lemony. loves me the lemon)
Cupcakes

That's all I got for now!
