And yes people have always had problems with depression and anxiety but it really is getting worse. I too am healthier than most (all) of my family.

That is interesting, because that is why I first entered therapy! I called off my wedding with one week to go . . . needless to say, I had some avoidance issues

Thankfully, figuring out why I chose to cope that way has helped me in the long run, and of course, led to many more issues to confront

Well, I have heard that many people go through with their wedding even when they feel that way and I think that would have been worse! I had 6 mos to go but all the plans had been laid. Including a non-refundable dress. I donated it to a cancer charity. That whole thing was so painful. I'm glad I'm not there anymore.

Yes, I have NEVER regretted my decision to call off the wedding. With a week to go, everything was bought and paid for, but you can't put a price on a bad marriage, so I don't get too upset about all that cash down the drain.
