As David said, Mary Turner is also a great interviewer. I also like the "Up Close" interviews although I'm not sure who does them.

I agree. I love Jim Ladd's interviews with Stevie.

Can you imagine some moron from MTV or someplace doing a Stevie interview?

I mean if it's not hip-hop or something they have no clue. They kiss the @ss of all these crappy 'artists', too. I don't see anything wrong with Jim making some comments about how hot Stevie looked. In fact I think in his own little way he was making a point with people like Britney and Christina, etc that you don't have to be a 20 something scantily clad 'ho' to be a very sexy woman.

i think stevie says that about every profession. she's mentioned wanting to be a hairdresser, a second grade school teacher, a dj etc etc....throw any profession at her and she'll claim that she would've been that if she wasn't a rock and roll star! i think it's cute though cause it shows that she's cool with everything and she's not above any other job. she could easily say, "blyech, yuck, p-tooey, i would NEVER want to do that and can't think of why anyone else that would want to!"

you bring to mind the 1980 movie, "the fog," with Adrienne Barbeau playing a late-night dj named, what else, STEVIE Wayne, although i'm not positive about the last name but i'm pretty sure it's something like that. Anyway, how aprapos cause it could definately be stevie. she works the overnight shift; the radio station operates out of a light house on the coast of California in a town called Antonio Bay (not sure if that's a real town but it looks like it's somewhere near SF); and then there's the fog....track a ghost through the fog! Plus, she's got a 1980 stevie perm (although not as long) and speaks in this soft, sexy, raspy voice playing cool jazz.

how cool is that?!

Yeah, that's what I mean. The poor thing could not even pick her email address. Why are all of these names taken? She must have been wondering why.

First names would be impossible - isn't there a limit to how many characters can be in your email address?

I too want to know when the heck she is coming to Canada. However i hope this so called tour isn't just a hits package. She really should pull out the rare stuff and drop the tried and true ( DREAMS, GDW RHIANNON ETC)

The names would never fit in the "send to" line.

Which makes me think for the initials address to work she would need a vowel someplace. I guess that won't work either.

Oh Stevie just give us your email address. I bet she might even know how to send IMs.
