Default Seven Wonders...Not What You Think

Hey guys, just a quick question about the lyrics in Seven Wonders, and no, it's not the Sara - Tara - Pharoah - Never debate. I was just wondering, at the end of the song, does Stevie sing "that beauty, that beauty that same, same beauty again"? I can't make out anything else, and it just seems weird that she would say "same" twice.

That seems weird to you? Even though she does it constantly? I think it is same, same.

Yeah, it's "same same". I first thought it was "sad, sad", but it's clearly not once you listen to it again.

I dunno, I always thought it was "sad sad beauty", although you're probably right. Must be one of those "s'cuse me while I kiss this guy" sort of things.

Yup. Totally. She's just using it for emphasis. Something she does very, very often.

Thank you all. I know she does do it a lot, but it just seemed weird with the word "same." Although, I guess it does sound better with the beat than just going "that say-ame beauty again."

All this time I had myself convinced that she was saying "that plain, plain beauty again" I guess that doesn't really make any more sense.
