This is what was said about the voting thing on AOL this morning:

Fox has accidentally stumbled onto a way to squeeze an extra airing of American Idol onto its schedule: foul up the phone voting. That's what happened Tuesday night, when the show displayed the wrong call-in numbers for three of the contestants.

Voters who called the numbers listed for Anwar Robinson, Mikalah Gordon, or Jessica Sierra would have inadvertently registered support instead for Anthony Fedorov, Carrie Underwood, or Scott Savol. As a result, the error is forcing the first revote in Idol history.

Fox said in a statement that it would air a new hour-long Idol episode Wednesday night, adding that the show "will combine new live elements with encores of Tuesday's performances from the remaining 11 contestants." Fans will then be allowed to call in their votes on Wednesday night, while Tuesday's votes will be tossed out.

The results show that usually airs Wednesdays will then air on Thursday. This may prove an awkward solution, but it beats getting the Supreme Court involved.

I agree that Anthony and Mikalah were awful. Zzzzzz. Anwar was good but boring. Bo, I really liked, I loved that song in my childhood and my dad loves Jim Croce. It's so touching too, listen to the message people!

Oh man, Carrie knocked my socks off, just to do an Ann Wilson song, that sista has pipes! And her hair was all Aqua Netted up which was apro po(sp?)!! Early on I thought she had it and would win but she's had some stinker performances. Last night I saw that winner again.

Nadia rocks but I didn't like her on Time after Time and the hair wasn't that great of a choice. But I love her.

I would be happy if Bo (Bo Bo Bo!!!), Carrie, or Nadia won the competition. Everyone else can go. Oh yeah, I thought Jessica was pretty good on Total Eclipse but "pretty good" doesn't cut the check, Missy.

I agree that Constantine seems a bit unatural. I still kinda like him, but he comes off as (his mannerisms) as a Jim Morrison wanna-be. Does anyone else get that feeling? Not te way he sings, but the way he moves and stuff make me think of Val Kilmer in the Doors movie. I was thinking that last night. Could be the hair, too...

I didn't like Nadia's or Carrie's hair. Nadia's was just....strange, and Carrie's..not a fan of the big hair thing.

Yes, like he's doing a bad acting job. He's singing from outside of himself, too concerned about how he "looks". In other words, "posing". I did like his performance last night though!

For some reason I liked that song for him.

You have to watch Carrie!!

That girl rocked "Alone" hardcore and I LOVE her voice. Simon gave her mad props and predicted she would win and sell more records than any other idol winner.

Personally, I felt her performance last night was one of the best I have ever seen on AI...I dug it way more than Fansuckia's Summertime.

Carrie is sweet, humble, beautiful and her voice is just stunning.
Constantine is really eye fu**ing the camera way too much for me. That over the top "I know I am sexy" schtick is getting on my last nerve. I know I used to like him but I got some sense.

He is not great..but still cute. I like Bo but he was a schnoozefest last night.
Nadia is not my favorite and Scott? Get some humility man. He basically rolled his eyes at Simon as he was getting his critique. Listen and learn! And lose the damn greasy glasses.

She sure did and I was SCRUTINIZING her every note too. When she came out I turned to my hubby and said, yeah right, this chick is going to sing my girl Ann Wilson's song, give me a break. But she pulled it off. I was eating crow after her performance.

Ugh. You cannot rock out to the Partridge Family no matter how hard you try. Sorry Constantine, but that was LAME!!!!

I agree about Nadia - weird reggae vibe happening. I hope she stays. Mikalah was way worse anyway.

I don't think they are going to re-perform tonight, I thought it was going to be rerun with some little extras thrown in.
