I never suggested deleting threads with posts in them, dear. If you would be so kind as to review what I said, I initially stated that it might be beneficial to the navigation of this board to merge some threads and, if possible, delete duplicates with no responses yet. I'm obviously not the only one who thinks that way.

I'm not saying your points aren't valid. But I'm not going to delete someone's thread, simply because it has no responses and I deem it to be redundant.
If they contact me personally and ask me to delete it, I'd be happy to.
But otherwise I won't do that.

Plus, with the rate this forum moves, any thread that has no replies will be gone off of the first page in a matter of two days anyway.

I never suggested you did, sugar plum. I was talking about the deletion of the work of the poster (one example of many) who begins his little redundant thread, all excited about it, and then comes back only to find it gone. Oh, his weeping fills the air as he curses the Nazi moderator who found him unworthy! Especially since his thread probably wasn't exactly the same. Why, it very well may have been "Are you staying at Caesar's" which of course is very different from "Where are you staying."

OK, yeah, the redundant threads are annoying. But it's harder than it looks to moderate these kind of things. Nothing you do is gonna make everybody happy, and it's up to Johnny Stew to try to negotiate it. He has to take all points of view into consideration. Suggestions are great, but don't get your panties in a wad if they're not taken.
