OK - so I'm trying to make an mp3 disc of demos for a friend...
When I play the demos using either WinAmp or WinMediaPlayer, the songs are covered in static, like a dusty old LP. But when I play them through RealPlayer, they sound clear as a bell. And these are the same ole demos we're all dl'ing, from the usual sites. Also, I burned them onto a disc just to check, and they sound fine in my DVD Player. WTF??? Anyone have any ideas? This seems to be a new phenomenon.P.S. - WinAmp 5.07, RealPlayer 8 Basic, WMP 7.01 (if that makes any difference to anyone...) |

I realized it was happening only on tracks that I had adjusted the volume levels on or boosted the bass. I'm not sure if this has any relation to what you're experiencing, but I thought I'd mention it just in case! Sure sounds aggrivating. ![]()
