Default Who is your Favorite....

Who is your favorite "unknown" comedian? I would have to say I enjoy Maria Bamford's material alot. Any others?

SARAH.SILVERMAN.

Enough said. I want to have babies with her.

And I adore Reno, too, she's a f*cking riot. Mo Rocca, of course, he should be way more popular because he's hot and hysterical.

I know, I really regret not seeing him when he came up this way awhile back. He kills me. His DNC coverage was priceless and I always make it a point to watch the Today show if he's going to be on. I'd die if he went back to The Daily Show.

American Samoa all the way, baby!

I don't know your excuse, dear, but I never was the brightest crayon in the Crayola box.

Come back, Mo, come back.

That's not a bad idea, maybe I'll update the one in the picture thread tomorrow.

I used to pay almost $450 a pair for Alain Mikli, but I found a website that has them for $200 and that's a steal for them considering they're imported from Italy. Put those glasses on the ugliest person and they'll look hot to me.

The man is the most intelligent comedian I've ever come across and due to the mainstream Australian audiences liking of stupid comedy, he goes straight over these people's heads but has found almost cult status within the more educated audiences of the ABC. He's the comedian who gave me a sense of taste and god-forbid I ever use the word, 'inspiration' to actually use comedy. He used to be second to John Cleese but he even knocked him off that sacred number 1 spot that only Cleese ever occupied. Whatever, I'm crapping on but he's incredibly important as he inpired me (there it is again) to develop (rip-off) a writing style and it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say he even majorly influenced my own character.

Oh I'm sorry, I lost your interest.

Thanks for the tip, I went to the site and watched a few skits...pretty funny!

My favorite unknown comedian is one that you aren't likely to see on television and you'll most likely only know of him if you're a Renaissance Faire geek like me. His name is Brian Howard, but often goes by the stage name Broon. He often does solo acts but is also one half of the buddy comedy team Moonie and Broon. (Moonie is also very funny)

His act incorporates hilarious self-deprecating jokes, juggling, fire eating, and escaping from a straight jacket while suspended in the air. However, I am hoping that he's going to elminate the straight jacket routine, since something went wrong last summer and he fell and suffered a concussion and several fractures. Somehow I just don't think that's going to happen, since the last time I saw him he was still using the jacket even though he still had a cracked collarbone. The man also has rather large burn scars on his arms which I can only assume are from mishaps while fire eating. Some men just don't learn from mistakes, I tell ya.

Another really positive thing is that he has a great ass. Fire eaters have to wear tight fitting clothing to avoid catching their clothes on fire and, since his act is mainly performed at Ren Faires, that means tights.

Stephen Colbert. I'm not sure how unknown he is exactly, but I love him. Samantha Bee, too.
