Default For Those Who Like Keith Urban......

ITunes has Keith Urban's Sessions@AOL set for download. I saw it today when I went into ITunes. I just thought I would give everyone the heads up.

Here is the set:
(1) Days Go Bye (Live) 3:27
(2) You're My Better Half (Live) 4:04
(3) Making Memories of Us (Live) 4:12
(4) You'll Think of Me (Live) 5:26

KU is a Kiwi who was raised as an Aussie...His next US dates are fast approaching, The first arena show is the March 10 show at the Ford Center in OKC (KU is playing Reliant Stadium in Houston, But that is a large stadium gig for a yearly rodeo) which should be cool since his current stage rig being used in Australia will be employed for the first time for the next crop of US dates.

Not a bad bargain ticketprice wise either, only $36 per ticket (Which included a $1 service charge via the KU fan club which Deb is a member thereof)

I haven't heard a KU song yet that I didn't like, so I bet you're right.

But if I bought one of his CDs, it would be my very first purchase of a country album... so I'm a little nervous about losing my virginity!

Of course, if one is going to lose one's virginity... to whom better than Keith Urban?!?

That is hysterical!

Don't be afraid of country music...there's probably some of it that's not to your style, but if ya look around, you're bound to find something you like. Ask new Loretta Lynn fans. Keith has a great fusion of country and rock, he talked about it on Crossroads with John Fogerty (also influenced by country and rock). And, boy, does he know how to rock!!!!!!

I've attached one of my favorite photos I took at the Dallas show last October. Hope I get my camera in the Ford Center next month.

His music is the country cousin of LB's music to an extent, He focuses more on the song than the instrumentation, But he can rip it up when required...

I recommend ya purchase his disc "Golden Road" to burst yer country cherry (Man, that sounded funny as hell ), A disc that is one of the best discs to have come out in awhile, It gets played more often in our car than "Say You Will"

So Mr.Library-dude, I can guarantee ya you'll love "Golden Road", KU may be country, But I feel he borders more towards the rock side than the "all out country" side (Look at KU music as being somewhat similar to a country bred FM cousin)...Ask wondergirl, I recommended KU to her now she's hooked, And one thing I know is that I have a storied history of recommending great music towards friends/family

Arrow Right

I'm addicted...thanks a lot Brian. LOL!! Keith's a good thing to be strung out on.

Lindsey will always be my #1 addiction, with Keith now #2, Justin #3. Can't wait for Justin's album....he just recorded a jazz album, so I'm mega-excited to hear that!

Yep, Keith and Lindsey are eerily similar (well, LB is an influence of KU) in that they both play for the song, not for their ego/for show. They are both spectacular at electric and acoustic numbers too. Wish Keith would do a Lindsey song live, the closest he's done (by association) is a Tom Petty song (Free Fallin'). Perhaps I should make a sign saying "Please do a Lindsey Buckingham cover, Keith!" LOL
