I have yet to recieve this tourbook. When I call fanfire, I get stonewalled with lies, excuses, etc. this was back in september for crying out loud. I gave them some advice....never promise something that you donnot have to give....all this did was rake open those wounds from the fraud of the '98 AHI benefit. I may get legal advice on this....I am going to get personal with this if need be.

Gads it's tought to type angry and sad...I hope this didn't seem too manic
I don't think you sound too manic. I think you articulated your feelings very well. Like many others, I too have joined many of the fan clubs and never got what I was supposed to. And I realized after reading your post that although I get mad about it, the part I don't talk about is the sadness. Sadness like a kid promised something he wants so much that is never going to happen. The stars and their fan club henchmen really are callous to people who complain about not receiving what they paid for, and obviously don't know what it's like to admire someone so much that you would pay that much money for promises of calenders or backstage tours or whatever. And I almost think they don't deserve fans like us if they want to treat us like the criminals when it is them not following through on the promises. There is no reason why fan club's promises can't be fulfilled. And I applaud you if you do take legal action. It's about time someone put them in their place!

They don't deserve any fans if they think it's perfectly okay to swindle them and treat them so cheaply like they did. It only serves to reinforce the idea that Fleetwood Mac is not a musical or artistic venture anymore and it hasn't been for many a year; it's mostly about money and how they can make as much as possible. I most definitely do not simply blame Mick, that's too easy. They were all involved in it and they all put their stamp of approval on it. For that, they're all culpable in the disgusting treatment of their fans. They made money for nothing and I hope it was worth it.

While he's just as much to blame as the other three, I think it's great that Lindsey and his management realized how ****ty the whole thing was and did something to patch things up, because Stevie's management certainly didn't give a flying f*ck. The run-around they gave me was hysterical. Truly hilarious.

Personally, I'm still reeling from being approached for a meet and greet with the band members for thousands of dollars and having plastic Egyptian jewelry hocked my way. And all those f*cking video clips of Mick and his bloody car were simply the icing on the badly baked cake.
