I love the picture of the flower (it's a wallpaper waiting to happen) and the pink/purple sky in the picture before that. It looks like a really nice place in the summer. That's the only state we haven't visited on the East coast yet

Those are beautiful, Pattie. Kinda looks like here, though, so it made me think of going to the beach in the summer....

I was in Providence last year some time. My husband goes there a lot for college basketball and football. But we're going to Newport in September for my brother's wedding. I forget where exactly they're having it, but I know it's going to be nice. His fiance comes from money, so I know they'll do it right. I'm really looking forward to seeing Newport.

Not to interrupt, but just curious - doesn't where you live have great rivers? Can you swim in them, or are they too cold?

Great rivers. I've rafted a few...in a wet suit. They are cold.

Pattie's photos are from the place I was born and grew up and lived until I was 17.
I haven't been there since 1990.
Aside from a few really beautiful resevoirs, we are pretty landlocked. I miss the water.
