The only ones I can think of:

Monster's Ball
Top Gun
American Beauty
Girl Interupted (hate the JOlie...)

I love Might Aphrodite and Fire Walk With Me. Mighty Aphrodite cracked me up. And then we got the wretched Everyone Says I Love You. Fire Walk With Me was utter crap, but it was entertaining.

Leaving Las Vegas was good because Elisabeth Shue was fabulous, but I can't stand Nicolas Cage and would probably never watch it ever again.

Oh. My. God. They Live? That movie is hilarious! They've got contacts now! That one should have been a MST3K movie.
Of course it was awful when compared to the book, but I still thought it was good. I shudder to think what a remake would be like.

I love They Live, Rowdy Roddy Piper is good in it. I saw it at the movies when I was eight and loved it. The ending sucks, though.

The thing I can't stand in Mighty Aphrodite is the Allen-Bonham Carter relationship, like the Allen-Roberts relationship in Everyone Says I love you (but I liked all the rest). They were blatantly ridiculous, badly written and acted. At least he should have given to those actresses decent characters with a bit of a background.

I agree about Elisabeth Shue but no one could have saved the movie, IMO. Nicolas Cage's performance was too self-absorbed and predictable.

Yeah, I actually agree. But when it comes to Mighty Aphrodite, I think the good outweighed the bad. There were scenes in that movie that had me on the floor and the cast was top-notch. Everyone Says I Love You was just terrible. The songs were terrible, the cast was terrible, the story was terrible, etc. I don't think I laughed once throughout. Thank the stars for Deconstructing Harry because I thought he had lost it all after Everyone Says I Love You. He needs to use Judy Davis more, in my opinion. She's got a spark to her when it comes to his material like no one else, save maybe Keaton and Farrow at times.

I also liked Julian Sands in it, but I think he's very good with the right role. Boxing Helena certainly didn't help his career, though.

Really? I laughed a lot through it, and liked the songs and the dance numbers. Like most of his most recent movies it has a collection of weak spots, but overall I enjoyed it.

Yes, he should use her more. I was blown away by her performance in Husbands and Wives, an authentic Woody vs Mia fest.

I am surprised by how many of you hate this! It is one of the only "sentimental movies" that I like.

As for popular movies that I hate: Unbreakable and Pulp Fiction (*ducks*).

Forrest Gump...I like it, because it's weird. LOL

TP: FWWM...saw it a couple of times, it's weird, but TP is my favorite show EVAH.

The Passion...made me tense and cry. One of the greatest movies ever made, IMO.

Sabrina....thought it was cute, and I like Greg and Harrison.

Lolita...I love both versions, and I just watched the original the other night.

Psycho...never saw the remake, but the original is a classic.

I don't really like the movie because of how incredibly dated it is. I had to read the book in 8th grade and then we watched the movie? Hooboy. The book was great, the movie not so much.

I don't like the Lord Of The Rings films. When I go to see a movie I shouldn't want to fall asleep.

Oh, but of course. Wes Anderson soundtracks are always fabulous, no matter how the movie is.
