Stevie mention in Grammy radio tidbit

On the oldies station here (yes, the oldies station is playing Mac now, they started a few months ago) a little while ago, they played a "Backstage at the Grammy's" clip, kind of like a little advertisement. It said something like:

"In 1998, Stevie Nicks, singer for Fleetwood Mac, had her best friend's kids in the audience during rehearsal. They brought along their Beanie Babies & put them in seats in the front row. They said the bears were big Fleetwood Mac fans. Be sure to tune in to the 2005 Grammy's....."

Silly little tidbit, but I had to mention it. And I wonder who these kids are - maybe Jessi & friends?

They are SOOO original. I heard the EXACT wording of that on my local oldies station this afternoon. I was like

. I mean, I already knew that every radio station was homogenized, but sheesh!

I heard the exact same thing a few months ago on the radio. It wasn't a oldies station it was a teeny bopper station that I had on for some reason. They had some kind of radio show on and they mentioned that about Stevie.

I saw Fleetwood Mac last night on a 30 igmo-mercial, Oops I meant infommercial for "Voom TV", Mainly explaining how "Voom TV is the only place to view PBS' Soundstage performances in High Defintion...You can see how beautiful Stevie Nicks is up close, Yadda-blah Yadda-blah blahblahYadda blah."

Kinda funny **** if ya ask me...No mention of how ya can also see how much Stevie's performance was edited though
