Default The reason I have been away.....

Hey there fellow Ledgies!

I have been away for a while, as some of you have noticed. Around Nov. I took it upon myself to start a personal goal in time for the new year. I have been overweight for most of my teenage years, and IMO, It got out of hand recently, so I decided to take the situation into my own hands. I started to rollerblade, treadmill, and do a gazillion ab workouts. On a daily basis I have been rollerblading 10 miles A DAY on average, then about 30 minutes on the treadmill, followed by a couple of ab routines. I am proud to post today that I have lost close to 40 pounds.

Part of my problem was cutting down on the amount of junk and soda I would take in. I successfully switched to diet soda (probably the hardest part of my diet). I just wanted to share my success with you guys to maybe inspire some Ledgies whos goal is to lose wieght in the new year. I went from wearing XL shirts to now fitting into Mediums and Large!!!!! I will post some photos of before and after later on in the week. I hope this helps some of you on the weight loss road....

Alex, that is AWESOME!!!
Congratulations, and I'm VERY proud of you!

Funny how easy it is to put on weight, and how difficult it is to lose it... but you faced it head on, and succeeded.

Ok, slinking back to my comfy chair now to sleep some more (in between the coughing jags).

Alex,

Thats great! You have a new active lifestyle. Glad to hear that you were successful in losing some weight. It is never easy to lose it.

I am still the same old Ah 'Desktop potato". I have been addicted to Photoshop and trying to make some banners and stuff. I just bought Paint Shop Pro this past Friday and I have no idea how to use it.

Maybe I will be insprired to be more active when this winter is over.

Good Luck, Alex!

Woot!@!$!@! Awesome.

I recently somehow managed to fit into Larges, as well (I used to wear XLs for a loooong time). How it happened, I have no idea. But I'm not complaining! Some (but not all) Larges are too big for me now, too, but I haven't tried Mediums.
