Default What are your New Years Eve plans?
What do you plan to do?

I personally don't like to go out on New Years Eve, because of the underexperienced drinkers... "awww, I'm fine, I can drive..." those type. I am trying to get a party together here for poker or euchre, drinking, and whatever may....

My friend Rain is picking me up tomorrow, so i'll be in Chico. She has to go to a party from some other friends, not sure if i will or not. Might just go out.

I was going to go up to Boston for the weekend. I don't feel very well so I am going to cancel my trip. I don't mind staying home anyway.

My friends and I will be celebrating at my house this year. We're going to have a hellacious bonfire, pizza, fireworks, and probably setting the woods on fire. Last year, I was kidnapped. The woods did catch on fire because of fireworks.

just staying at home and watch South Park & blast music at incredibly loud volumes just to celebrate the New Year...

However I am disappointed that Dick Clark wont be dropped this year instead of the usual ball in NYC

Well I thought about going out with some friends to a local bar - but bars really aren't my thing, I don't like crowds and I don't really want to be out with the drinker either....so I'll probably stay at home with my Golden Girls DVDs and yeah...sad - but I'm also not feeling top notch this week - so whatever...boring ass New Year's - it'll be my first one without my family...

Hmmm I won't get to see Sydney fireworks this year...we are still the best in the world here by the way, if you have a list of things to do before you die, add seeing a sydney firworks display on new years eve to it, Aussies know how to party.

We go to dinner every year with my best friend & her husband. After that, we're undecided.

We can go to a friend's house, but she lives kind of far away, so we'd either have to stay sober enough to drive home (BOO!) or spend the night on the floor.

OR

We can go to hubby's brother's house, which we usually do on NYE. They live walking distance away, which is a big plus. But then we'll have to deal with his sister, who, shall we say, "transforms" after a certain number of beers. She starts repeating herself & talking about how terrible she had it as a kid (which she didn't really.)

I've left it up to hubby to decide. I actually wouldn't mind staying home, sitting in front of the fire, playing some board/card games & getting smashed just the two of us - you know, real romantic like. We'll see.
