What's a "fake" scratch ticket? Onetime my mom bought my great aunt real scratch tickets for Xmas. She's addicted to bingo, so she loved it!

They say you've won, like, $500,000 but it's really a fake ticket.

Just got my Mom the Keane CD, Hopes and Fears, and No Doubt's Return of Saturn. So, she'll have almost all of No Doubt's CDs.

I've only got one person left to shop for!!! Of course it's the one person I have NO CLUE what to get...so whatever....haha...I have to say I've bought more stuff for myself this holiday than anything lol - but eh I'm in a new place and feeling a bit o' the holiday blues being here by myself- so I figured a little retail therapy couldn't hurt

I'm done with the exception of one DVD set I want to get for my mom that isn't released until tomorrow. Other than that I have been done since Thanksgiving weekend. All is wrapped and under the tree. I'm usually an early bird. It's driving me crazy to think I have to venture out to the stores this week/weekend. It's *so* not my style.

Cool Well...

havent holiday shopped nor do I plan too...We dont, per se, do the typical holiday shopping since we buy each other what each other wants without the whole "the mystery of the wrapped present wont be solved until X-Mas day" BS!!!

"no f****** presents?"
I love wrapping and opening presents, and i love the way they look sitting together, all sparkly, but it's nice that you save the paper and such. I also like the "suprise". It's all part of the enjoyment of the ritual of christmas, for me.

Wrapping is my favorite part. And I go overboard when it comes to making them look good. I tie ribbons around every one, stick bows on them, make sure the corners are clean and wrinkle-free, you name it.

I just wrapped most of the stuff I bought yesterday and now I'm depressed that I don't have anything else to wrap. I bought one of those Febreze Scent Stories things for my mother and boy, was that a bitch to wrap.

I also love to wrap presents.... But - this year I just can't catch the spirit...and I'm too damn cheap to buy wrapping paper - so I think I'm going to wait til I go home to NM - and use my mom's....I used to go overboard as well with ribbons and bows - but I"ve gotten lazy in the last few years - I wrap em, throw a tag on and that's it

ME, TOO!!! And when i'm buying the paper and ribbon and such, i carefully consider matching, prettiness of paper, who i'm buying for, and everything. i love it. I saw one of those febreeze things in the store the other day, it's all oblong and stuff? For oddly shaped things, like stuffed animals or vases or bottles of wine, i often opt for the tissue paper coming out of the top in a nice flower shape with complimentary regular paper attached just so around the outside, with cascading "curl ribbon" to seal the top a bit. I feel your pain of having nothing else to wrap perhaps you'll pick up a few last minute gifts for someone... My edges aren't always perfect, but usually nearly so, and i make up for it with paper and ribbon creativity. It's hard for me to let a box go wrapped without at least utilizing two different colors of ribbon. how weird someone else is as fetishistic about it as I. Of course, you are a designer, so...

No, It's supposed to be the initals of the DamagePlan cd "New Found Power", But it could be used as "No F**kin' Presents" too I guess

I hate surprise gifts...

Example; The infamous story my Mother loves to tell about how us three boys (F**khead Bill, Geary & myself) found the our wrapped presents in her closet before Christmas and we opened 'em up...But realizing she would kick our asses for doing so we re-wrapped the presents...in different Christmas paper!!!!!!!

Gee, I always wonder HOW Mom figured that one out
