Mom, Hazel Patricia and Phinnaeus Walter reportedly doing well
Sunday, November 28, 2004 Posted: 6:55 PM EST (2355 GMT)

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Actress Julia Roberts gave birth to twins Sunday morning, her publicist told CNN.

Roberts, who is married to cinematographer Daniel Moder, delivered Hazel Patricia Moder and Phinnaeus Walter Moder at a hospital in Southern California, said Marcy Engleman.

"Mother and babies are doing great," she said.

Roberts, 37, married Moder two years ago.

Roberts was born in Smyrna, Georgia, and attained fame in 1990 for her portrayal of a prostitute in the sentimental romantic comedy "Pretty Woman."

Ten years later, she won the Academy Award for best actress and a Golden Globe for best actress in a drama for her work in "Erin Brockovich."

I'm glad they're ok. I'm glad she'll be making less movies, now.

Phinnaeus

Yeah, okay.

Sesly, do all actresses go to stupid baby name school upon entering the Hollywood city limits?

I like Patricia too. As for those first names...is there an unwritten law requiring celebrities to give their children strange names?

Seriously. They'd be better off with dumping Scrabble letters into a bag and picking at random. There's been some horrendous Hollywood baby names in the past year. You're not being original, you're setting your kid up to be made fun off not just for the fact that his/her parent is famous but because you've given them some genius name that would be better suited for a dog trying to get into the kennel club. Sheebus...celebrities...

Well, unless you want to yell across the playground a watered down version of "WTF?!?!" i'd suggest a boring old name. Then again...Sheebus...hmm...could be Amish

We ought to change the title of this thread to "Julia Roberts Gives Birth To New Crayola Crayon and Constellation!"

Back when I still wanted to have kids, I really wanted to have two girls and name them Electra and Narcacia. Maybe God knew that would happen and He made me gay so that it would be harder for me to have them?
