Default FM cover

I just heard Tim McGraw & Faith Hill's live concert cover of Go Your Own Way (ya, I know, I'm alittle slow) over on Buckingham Nicks, I happen to love it by the way, but then again I am a fan of those two. Does anyone know if there is a dvd or bootleg video of these two singing this song? I know I should post this over on a Tim or Faith message board, but I'm too lazy to find one right now or register on one for that matter Any Tim or Faith fans here?

I don't like this cover. Tim sounds like he is constipated and has a speech impediment. Don't get me started on Faith. She sounds more like she is screaming in pain than anything else.

Oh come on Edge, your too tough Is there an FM cover that you do like? I must admit that I did think that Faith was yelling abit much at first, but then the more I listened to it the more I thought that she was just trying to imitate Miss Nicks with the letten loose thing! I know that Faith & Tim love the Mac & I'm sure Faith is very familiar with Stevie's "earlier stage performances".

I don't like it either (and I do like covers! I was just listening to the Twilight Singers' What Makes You Think You're the One). I've never seen video of it, only crappy quality audio MP3s.

Yup. I like about 95% of them. This one is just sucky. Tim's vocals do not match the speed of the music. He's not even getting an A for effort.

I dislike Tim, but I usually like Faith's voice . . . Not this time, though. It's a horrible cover, IMO. I can't even listen to the whole thing because of her screeching.

It's one of the better covers, but better than the original? I'll admit it is close. To me, the only covers that surpass the originals are:

Eva Cassidy's take on "Songbird" & Leo Kottke's "World Turning"

Other fave covers (but not better than the original):

KC & The Sunshine Band - Don't Stop
Pointer Sisters - Hypnotized
Justin Hayward - Man Of The World
Billy Sheehan - Oh Well (includes "Part 2", too)
The Melvins - Green Manalishi
Ottmar Liebert - Albatross
Waylon Jennings - Gold Dust Woman
Rusty Weir - Don't Let Me Down Again & Lola (My Love)
Firefall - Crying In The Night
Walter Egan - Sisters Of The Moon
Bob Welch - Oh Well (Parts 1 & 2)
Rick Vito - I Loved Another Woman

and, of course:

Santana - Black Magic Woman

Word on the Melvins' Green Manalishi and Waylon's GDW.

I'm still not over loving the Twilight Singers' What Makes You Think You're the One, but they're one my favorite bands anyways.

I thought it sounded like crap! Whoever is doing the third harmony with them is trying really hard to sound like Stevie, but sucks all the same.

However, I LOVE Home's cover of Gypsy - it works somehow.

Oh, and Nora O'Connor's cover blows

I cannot argue with that assessment! Of course, I'm biased already because I'm not fond of either of them. I could never stand Tim and Faith's music got on my nerves after her first two albums.

Oh, and am I the only one who kind of likes the Goo Goo Doll's "I Don't Want to Know"?

No! I love this cover. One of my favorite on Legacy. I kinda like it more than Stevie's version.
