5. Where else have you lived: Chicago, IL- three different areas in the city; Overland Park, KS
6. Zodiac Sign: Libra
7. What school do you go to: graduated from Columbia College in Chicago
8. Nicknames: I get called Lollapalooza if I dye my hair a color that's a little too obnoxious. But that's it, I think.
9. Shoe size: 9 1/2 - 10
10. Hair color: Natural- brown Currently- light brownish with orangey-red highlights
11. Ever died your hair: I used to do it constantly, but I've mellowed with age. My last dye job was a couple of months ago- fire-red streaks. They were great. They've faded into something even better, though- this really great orangey-red color. It's working for me, I'm not going to fix it.
12. Hair length: longest it's been since I was a kid, it's about two or three inches past my shoulders.
13. Eye color: brown
14. Height: 5'7" (and 3/4"!)
15. Have any pets: None- but I'm contemplating getting a cat.
16. Siblings: a younger brother- he's 20. He's- my younger brother.
17. What do you fear most in the world: Uh, birds taking over the world and eating my eyeballs... tinnitus... and W controlling the red phone
18. If you could do anything without consequences, what would it be: 1) I'd be a total whore, and 2) I'd eat whatever I wanted to while being a total whore with no consequence
19. Do you have braces: No, did when I was younger
20. Do you have glasses: Yes- and we just got vision at work! Thrilling, isn't it? (when did I become so boring? - I'm too young for this.)

Three things I am wearing.
1) Black tank top
2) Penguin pajama pants (they're from Old Navy and are blue with all these penguins wearing underwear all over them)
3) Big heavy men's winter socks... the kind I still think of Keith when I put them on... haaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3) over-confident

Three things most people do not know about me.
1) Despite a "Gruffy McGruffenstein" exterior, I would do anything for my family- to make them happy or comfortable, or not hurt. I would do anything. Most people paint me as too flip to care.
2) I have regrets- a lot of them. Most think that I do everything without looking back. But I look back.
3) I am a complete and total 'shipper- most would have no idea. I get all girly and crushy with my shows (but NOT S&L).

Three things I say the most.
1) "Oh, F*CK YOU"
2) "I just threw up a little in my mouth."
3) It's not verbal, but I have a thing about cocking a finger and pointing at people lately. Really dumb, but I can't stop.

That's it!! We have a mathematical learning disability. Finally, I can tell my dad that, because when I was a kid, I cried because I couldn't figure out my math homework. LOL We would sit in the kitchen for hours and he'd try to explain things to me, get frustrated at me, and I'd start ballin'.

You and I have something in common instead of you and Pammy Jean! I really do love smoking and killing myself slowly from the inside.

there was a study recently (About a couple years ago actually) that showed that people with difficulties with Mathematics tend to be great readers, And those with great Math abilities tend to be be slow readers.

Must be true...Deb, who is not mathematically inclined, can read an Anne Rice book completely in a day (Two days at most) and it takes me (A "4.0" GPA math student) about 5-7 days to read the same book.

I keep trying to get myself to get dressed and go out right now, but I know all I'll do is go to the movies and watch Alfie three times in a row.

Jude Law gives me this inner-Tourette's dialogue that goes something like this:

****! HIM! NAKED! SEX SEX SEX JUDE! ****! BEARSKIN RUG! SEX!

Oh why not - it is one of my fav.'s EVER:

From Designing Women:

JULIA: Excuse me, aren't you Marjorie Leigh Winnick, the current Miss Georgia World?

MARJORIE: Why, yes I am.

JULIA: I'm Julia Sugarbaker, Suzanne Sugarbaker's sister. I couldn't help over hearing part of your conversation.

MARJORIE: Well, I'm sorry. I didn't know anyone was here.

JULIA: Yes, and I gather from your comments there are a couple of other things you don't know, Marjorie.

For example, you probably didn't know that Suzanne was the only contestant in Georgia pageant history to sweep every category except congeniality, and that is not something the women in my family aspire to anyway. Or that when she walked down the runway in her swimsuit, five contestants quit on the spot. Or that when she emerged from the isolation booth to answer the question, "What would you do to prevent war?" she spoke so eloquently of patriotism, battlefields and diamond tiaras, grown men wept.

And you probably didn't know, Marjorie, that Suzanne was not just any Miss Georgia, she was the Miss Georgia. She didn't twirl just a baton, that baton was on fire. And when she threw that baton into the air, it flew higher, further, faster than any baton has ever flown before, hitting a transformer and showering the darkened arena with sparks! And when it finally did come down, Marjorie, my sister caught that baton, and 12,000 people jumped to their feet for sixteen and one-half minutes of uninterrupted thunderous ovation, as flames illuminated her tear-stained face! And that, Marjorie --- just so you will know --- and your children will someday know --- is the night the lights went out in Georgia!

Forgive me - this just seemed appropriate given the current state of affairs:

and - if ya wanted to know more about me - this is a GREAT indication!!!!

The Candidate
Julia is in a televised debate with Commissioner Bricket, and already getting impatient.
CALLER: .........and I just don't think I could vote for someone like Mrs. Sugarbaker who is so obviously against school prayer.
JULIA: Let me say once again, that I am not against prayer.
BRICKETT: These people are never against prayer, per say. They're what I call 14% Christian. They go to church one day and week and spend the next six trying to keep morals and decent values out of our schools and government ---- the very two institutions who should be instilling these things into our young people to begin with. Well, I say there's a reason we call it "One nation under God, indivisible" ...........maybe Mrs. Sugarbaker has just forgotten what that phrase was all about.
JULIA: (irritated) No, Mr. Brickett. I have not forgotten. I was just thinking that you seem to have forgotten the phrase "Separation of church and state", but the one thing I did forget was just how divisive, dishonest, and distasteful someone like you can be. I've sat here today and listened to you pander to these people, but you don't actually care about them, or you wouldn't be sitting here reinforcing their ignorance and prejudices.
BRICKETT: You heard that, Caller. She just called you ignorant and prejudice!
JULIA: (angrily) I do not think everyone in America is ignorant! Far from it!! But we are today, probably, the most uneducated, under read, and illiterate nation in the western hemisphere. Which makes it all the more puzzling to me why the biggest question on your small mind is whether or not little Johnny is gonna recite the Pledge of Allegiance every morning! I'll tell you something else, Mr. Brickett. I have had it up to here with you and your phony issues and your Yanky Doodle yakking! If you like reciting the Pledge of Allegiance everyday then I think you should do it! In the car! In the shower! Wherever the mood strikes you! But don't try to tell me when or where I have to say or do or salute anything, because I am an American too, and that is what being an American is all about! And another thing.........I am sick and tired of being made to feel that if I am not a member of a little family with 2.4 children who goes just to Jerry Fallwell's church and puts their hands over their hearts every morning that I am unreligious, unpatriotic, and un-American!! Because I've got news for you, Mr. Brickett...........all liberals are not kooks, anymore than all conservatives are fascists!! and the last time I checked, God was neither a Democratic nor a Republican! And just for your information, yes I am a liberal, but I am also a Christian. And I get down on my knees and pray everyday ---- on my own turf --- on my own time. One of the things that I pray for, Mr. Brickett, is that people with power will get good sense, and that people with good sense will get power.........and that the rest of us will be blessed with the patience and the strength to survive the people like you in the meantime!!
