I saw it because Elaine May wrote and directed it and I think she's hilarious and incredibly talented. But it was awful.

Really? See, I liked 'Unbreakable' quite a bit... though I know the friends I watched it with, didn't care for it.

I attributed it to the fact that I was a HUGE comic books fan when I was growing up.

I just thought it was normal dull, not awful like some other movies i've seen have been awful. But, not that i can really argue with you that it wasn't awful

No love for The Sixth Sense? I heard The Village was absolutely awful. I quit going to see them after Unbreakable, which I thought was interesting and okay but also very aggravating in that it didn't make enough sense.

yeah. No, i just don't like her in general, and i don't think she really picks good movies. She's the very epitome of mediocre. Like, good enough to be ok, but not really good at all. I accidentally saw Erin Brockovich, and, well, it was ok. I didn't rech, but i wasn't having a "julia party" either. But i don't like the way she looks or anything. I think she is nice, yet dull.

God, when i finally saw the sixth sense, I couldn't believe how much love it had gotten. It was ok, but...that's it. I didn't really think it was special or anything

Not even the Sixth Sense. I guessed the twist early on, he did a poor job of concealing it. I thought the whole movie was a complete rip-off of every other ghost movie that came before it; there was really nothing new.

Signs was just as bad. Yech.

Well, I can definitely say that I haven't liked her in any other movies I've seen her in besides that one.
