Default Anyone seen Paul Rodgers in concert?

Hi~

I have been dying to see Paul Rodgers for years and always seem to miss him even though he plays here all the time (I hate that!).

Anyone seen him lately and have a comment/review?

I've seen Bad Company many times. Last time I saw them was maybe 3 or 4 years ago. They were great. The first time I saw them was in '76 or '77, I think. He's still got great chops, so if you get the chance, go.

Thanks!

I forgot Bad Co. had toured together that recently. Of course, I missed that too. Do they have trouble getting along? I saw Simon Kirke with Ringo Starr a few years back and he was awesome.

I don't know if they have trouble getting along or not. A friend of mine ran into them after the show and said they had a nice time.
I'm pretty sure we saw Ringo on the same tour...he had his all star band with him. I can't remember if Simon was with him that time or not.

I saw him at the Miller Strat Pack concert in London about 4 weeks ago and he was really good. He looked very well and his voice was very stong, looked like he was having a good time. He played a couple of tunes on stage with his kids then launched into the old favorites including playing "All Right Now" with Brian May on guitar.. Very cool...

The whole gig was very good. I think Rodgers, Hank Marvin, Ronnie Wood , Joe Walsh and Brian May amongst others all got a really good reception but the night was owned by David Gilmour.. He blew them all out of town..

I recently pick up Free At Last, an album by Paul Rodgers' first group, Free. Greast Stuff.

This would have been '97. Though I am a big fan of a couple members of some of his other All-Starr Bands, this one was by far his best all around, IMO. He decided to do an "all-British" one that time. It rocked.

Exclamation Paul Rodgers...

was supposed to play at the Brickown Ballpark in downtown OKC awhile back but the weather caused the show to be postponed.

Still would like to see him live since I'm a fan of the bands Free, Bad Company & the Firm.

My husband got to see the FIRM back in like 85? in the Boston area. The main thing he remembers is Paul sounded great and Jimmy Page was on guitar
AMAZING show!
Just an added highlight...
