Default "My Heart" discovered.

Hey all!

This was posted on Nancy's board. Just thought I would share that another Stevie demo is entering circulation....maybe.

Sounds interesting. It does bug me though when someone tells us they have something like this but then won't share it! I know, I know... I'm greedy.

Agreed. If you're not going to share, don't bother. It's just plain rude.

I wonder if anyone else has this song?

well, she told us the lyrics - and i don't get mad when people do that....but I do wonder why she didn't. Is it very hard just to post the song? Is there some technical reason why she couldn't? I really don't know, if someone wants to tell me... maybe it think it's easier than it is...The lyrics sure are pretty, though

Of course it could be better/worse (depending on your viewpoint), there could be a 20 second snippet of the song in circulation now among the fans while the select few enjoy the entire thing. Which is what happened with Lindsey's version of "Big Yellow Taxi".

Or maybe of course, they're just trying to drum up interest.
But I imagine this will find it's way into the community somehow...
If it's even a Stevie song. Remember Do I Bring You Down? for all we know, someone could've stuck their own demo on to the end of this thing.

Um, if some people have mistaken "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" as a Stevie Nicks song, I wouldn't be surprised if some (maybe even those same people ) made the same mistake with "Black Velvet" as well.

Well, the demo is listed on SaraRhiannon.com as "not circulating", and I *think* it is also listed under Stevie's copyrighted song list on one of those sites (can't remember which one off the top of my head). Correct me if I am wrong.

I agree, a fan demo could also be the case.

I never understood not sharing information or songs. It's not like collecting is a contest. The more everyone knows, the richer it all becomes. I have always posted photo's, scans etc... (annyoing a few I know hehe), and yes, they do show up on other sites, but unless my name is STEVIE or LINDSEY, they really don't belong to me. Okay getting off my soapbox......I think I got a splinter anyway.

Some ppl in the Stevie community like get something out of not sharing or something, makes them feel like they have something to hold over everyone else's heads...very stupid and immature..get over it..share the damn music or dont even mention it or bring it up

I don't think so. She has a trade page but noted that she wouldn't be trading this particular cd, so I think it's just a matter of personal choice.

I agree it's kinda rude to announce you have something but won't be circulating it. It is her option to do so though . Maybe at some point one of us will happen across the disc or whoever was kind enough to leak the so-called "wall of sound" outtake of Thrown Down from the same cd will put this one out there as well. On the bright side, it was cool to read the lyrics and at least the existence of "My Heart" is now confirmed and we know to keep an eye out for that sampler.
