Break Down of Trouble in Shangri La

[Hawkeye]

Well this completes the Stevie albums, I know this is a favorite of many, but not me. But there is some of her best here:

AMAZING: Trouble Shangri La, Fall From Grace, Bombay Saphires

Great: Love Is

REALLY Good: Candlebright, Sorcerer

Good: Planets of the Universe, I Miss You, Love Changes

OK: Too Far From Texas, It's Only Love

Bad: Everyday (how frreaking bland and generic can you get) That Made Me Stronger

[Gypsy3]

Amazing: Trouble In Shangri-La, Too Far From Texas, That Made Me Stronger, It's Only Love, I Miss You, Love Is

Great: Sorceror, Planets Of The Universe, Love Changes, Bombay Sapphires, Fall From Grace

Good: Candlebright, Every Day

Okay:

Not A Favorite:

"Trouble In Shangri-La" is one of my favorite FM related albums period, right up there with "Rumors" and "Buckingham Nicks". I've never understood the hate for the Sheryl Crow tracks though. I think they gave Stevie the youth and energy that she was missing on "Street Angel" and even "The Other Side Of The Mirror". This album returned her back to the prime of her career, and she even surpassed "Bella Donna" for me.

Amazing: Bombay Sapphires, Fall From Grace, Planets of the Universe, Trouble in Shangri-La

Good Times: Love Is, It's Only Love, Sorcerer

Okay: Everyday, Candlebright, Too Far From Texas

I'll Pass On: I Miss You, Love Changes, That Made Me Stronger

[GypsySorcerer]

Simply Amazing: Trouble in Shangri-La, Bombay Sapphires

Really Good: Love Is, Planets of The Universe, Sorcerer, I Miss You, Fall From Grace, It's Only Love

Nice: Every Day, Candlebright, Too Far From Texas

No thanks: That Made Me Stronger, Love Changes

[markolas]

Really Good: Fall from Grace
Okay: That Made Me Stronger, Love Changes
Could've Done Without: Too Far from Texas

I think you hate TFFT because it reminds you of Bush!!!

I agreee with your assessment except that I would put Everyday and TFFT in the good category
