*sigh* Buh-bye, team Oompa Loompa. I'll miss them for their comedic antics - but Mirna was starting to get on my nerves. "Who's hungry? Charla's hungry!" Once again, ducking out of another road block challenge...

I think next week will be a non-elimination, FF leg. They have 3 more to use.

I think she more than proved that she was more capable of running that race than all the other women there. I didn't see any other woman take charge like she did and force herself to do those tasks, she did them honorably, without hesitation, and without whining once. She's four feet tall, carried 50 pounds of meat on her back for blocks, ate over two punds of caviar, ate an enitre ostrich egg, bolted down dark tunnels to retrieve things, pushed a cart with chairs in it, rode on camels, ran thorugh the desert; the woman blew me away. Congrats to her and her spirit, she made this show fantastic this season.

I got choked up at the end when she made her little speech, it was very moving and real. Like them or not, Mirna and Charla trusted each other, were there for each other, pushed each other, and showed how great it was to be able to accomplish things when you have someone supporting you the whole time. My hats are off to them!

Now, Team Jesus and Colin and Christie need to leave. They're such assholes, I can't even put it into words.

But...I'm probably cheering for Team Jesus and/or Chip & Kim now that Charla and Mirna are gone *sob*. I too got this close to getting choked up last night when she was talking about proving to the world what she could do etc.

I didn't like Chip & Kim at first but they've redeemed themselves.

One thing is certain...Colin & Christie are jerks and must be eliminated.

I think Brandon & Nicole are a typical example of folks who use God & religion as a crutch when it's convenient.
They've had absolutely no qualms about engaging in shady behaviour during the course of the race... even going so far as to back-stab people in a couple of instances... but then, when the chips are down, out come the prayers to God and the hope for salvation.

One of my favorite phrases is, "You've gotta draw the line somewhere."
We have someone who's willing to pose semi-nude with a semi-nude woman, and is willing to wear an AC-DC shirt, and is willing to do whatever it takes to win... but then doesn't drink alcohol because of his faith in God.
Why? Because you've gotta draw the line somewhere, that's why!

It's simple rationalization... "I've done this and this, but I'd never do that!" And that's how they keep their conscience clean.

I'm rooting for Chip and Kim now. Besides Linda and Karen, Chip and Kim are the only ones who haven't rubbed me the wrong way. Those four are the only ones left that I don't dislike. Brandon and Nicole are hot and I'd like them to stay longer just for eye candy. But they piss me off too. Next weeks episode definitely looks interesting.

I feel the same way as you about Mirna & Charla -
But I don't like any of the couples - Including Chip and Kim
I want Kami and Karli to win.

Me and my best friend Rain from High school (who has Stevie's birthday)are gonna apply to be on it - we're sure we could kick ass!

But the website said the deadline is Aug. 11th, so if that's true we'll have to try for next year...
We make a great combo...and we both want to race around in foreign countries!
And, we both know what a "Scarab" is!

I couldn't believe when the people didn't know what that was!
