Default Lindsey In Toronto

I was at my local Lackluster Video and this guy comes to me spotting my Fm Tee from last years tour. We got to chatting and he calimed that he had seen both Lindsey Buckingham and Christine Mcvie live on separate occassions in Toronto. Lb he claimed played at a club in To. He said that LB said to the crowd early on to NOT request Fleetwood Mac songs early on in his setlist or he would walk away. He said it was awsome. The thing is I only recall LB playing in Toronto in July of 1992 as opening act for Tina Turner. BTW he said that the concert tour with Tina was a disaster. I also don't reacll Cm ever playing Canada on any solo tours. Does anyone know?

Check out this link-

It says LB played at the Phoenix Concert Theatre on July 3, 1993 on the OOTC tour. I saw him on this tour in Fort Worth, Texas. I remember him saying early in the show, "As long as no one yells out 'Go Your Own Way' too soon I think we'll be ok!". It was a wonderful show. There was a long time that I thought that would be the only time I ever got to see him perform live.

It looks like the CM solo tour page is incomplete-it doesn't mention Toronto yet.

P.S.-I visited the Hockey Hall of Fame in January 2000. It was a religious experience!! Just in case you might be into hockey.

There's a video tape of that 7-3-1993 opening set for Tina Turner in circulation. Tracy G's one who has it in her tradelist.

I wait on a guy regularly who claims that he saw Lindsey Buckingham durring some jam session at a private club back during the Go Insane period... this guy is pretty reliable and has a lot of familiarity with music and stuff. He's been to a lot of concerts, so I almost want to believe him.
