It Was I

Does this song remind anyone else of the song Say You Will? Every time I listen to it lately, the voices in the background just remind me of the kiddies on SYW.

You should hear the version by Skip & Flip.

In other news, I consider What's the World Coming To & Steal Your Heart Away the same song, & I think it's that movement from tonic to mediant that makes me think so. Lindsey must have been on a tonic-to-mediant kick.

You don't always know what Lindsey's been listening to, but you generally know he's been listening to something.

TRIVIAL INFO TIME!

The "Skip" of Skip & Flip was bassist Skip Batten who had lengthy tenures in the post-Gram Parsons incarnations of the Byrds, the Flying Burrito Bros, & New Riders Of The Purple Sage.

In other news, why do I love Steal Your Heart Away, but not so much WTWCT then?
