Fall From Grace is beginning to grow on me. Or maybe it's that I haven't heard it in awhile.

Here's the obligatory Danny Kirwan singing "Black Magic Woman" entry to this thread, this time it's the April 1972 Waterbury show. 13 minutes and good jamming.

so would u give ashlee's new cd a high recommendation?, i got started watching ashlee's show cuz of the newlyweds ( i can't stop looking @ Nick ), & i really enjoyed ashlee's show, her raspy rock style voice & the song she sang 2 her sister, i think it was called "shadow"?, i'm not much 4 the new stuff, but ashlee looks like she might have some potential as a rock chick~ i can't remember the last time i bought a cd of a so-called "new artist", & was seriously contemplating this 1~

brightest stevie blessings~

Hey Jill! Well, as far as her singing ability goes...I give her a 5 out of a 10. I think she tries too hard to be Gwen Stefani meets Courtney Love. I really like the songs she wrote in conjunction with John Shanks (even though a few of the lyrics are corny). You can't help but to become addicted to them...their just incredibly catchy. I say check out a few before you buy but IMO, every track is great.

Steven Mintzer, this amazing University of Houston American social historian whose lectures have aired on PBS in the wee hours this summer.
