Default who is going to miss the mac like crazy when they retire

I know I am. Especially when Stevie disappears, I've been a fan of hers since I was like 10!

Just thinking

For me it's already started with Christine gone.

I know she's got a new album out which I love it's just that I miss her in FM.

I don't think Mick will ever retire - they'll carry him off stage in a pine box!

I think the others will go until they feel they can't do it anymore or don't want to. that's a long way off though!

My sentiments, too, Pip.

When they retire, I'll still have the 30-40 years of music that they've made...that should last me the rest of my life.

It has been 34 years since the Beatles called it quits, and while I miss 'em, I've had their music to listen to ever since. Same difference.

I'll be bummed when they retire but I'll be more depressed when they die because that's definitely the end. If they retire there's always the possibility that they'll get bored and un-retire

Smile Well....

I understand that everyone needs to rest and enjoy their life as we have so little of it really. I'm loving Keith Urban's song, Days Go By, right now because it basically says "you better start living right now...cause days go by...". They've all had an amazing legacy that they've left us, our children and so on, and I'm forever grateful for that. Sure, it will be sad to see them go, but we've been so blessed with their music.

And that's your sappy music rant of the day.

Red face

i'm going to side with and quote Stevie on this one..."Who knows? Let's just say a prayer and hope that it goes on forever."

What's all this talk of them retiring? They are still in the middle of their largest tour ever with no signs of slowing down!

Exclamation I will...

not have to worry about missing 'em with all the frikkin' concerts I have laying about on Cd/DVD/VHS...My collection is growing even as I type this.

But I will miss having new shows to listen to and the joy of meeting online friends at the shows

I don't like to think about them retiring but I have a feeling we're in for another big drought and that has me depressed. These past 2 years have been Fleetwood Mac overload and I feel like I've been drowning in all things Mac. I can't imagine when we go back to not hearing from them for months or years (Lindsey) at a time.

When I see other bands who put out work a lot faster and tour more often, I wish FM was that type of band...but they're not

I think probably that i will die. I hardly care about any other music. The good news is that I don't even have all of Fleetwood Mac's work yet. But I don't think they have time to go into, then come out of retirement. And when any of them is "gone", specially stevie or lindsey, specially stevie, it will be unbearable for me. I've only seen them three times! i want to see them every day!

No disrespect intended, but on a Fleetwood Mac board, is anybody really going to post that the band's retirement WON'T upset them?

ITA, if Stevie retired I would be so depressed I might die! And when any of them is "gone", as you put it, it will be like loosing a loved one- not like hearing about a celeb. that passed away. I don't want to think about that though. I've never lost anyone and don't even want to think about it...
