If there is any way I can get tabbing for this song. I knwo it is tough, but if someone can put something out that sounds like the song, I would appreciate it.

I can give you the chords:

Verses:
Bb F Gm F
Cm Dm Eb Dm-F
repeat

Pre-chorus (starting with "Anyone at all...):
Gm Cm Dm Cm (two bars apiece)
repeat

Chorus:

Bb and Eb, repeat several times

Anyhoo, that's how I play it. I put a capo on third and do the Bb as G, F as a D, etc... If anyone has any corrections... by all means share.

thanks, this is what I got from listening to the song right now, slightly different:

Bb F Eb(G) Dm
Eb Bb(D) Eb(C) F

Gm Cm7 Gm Cm

Bb Eb

('bass'notes between brackets)

but now I still have to figure out the finger picking stuff ...

Okay, so how would I be playing these chords in relation to the song? Can you guys put the chords along with the lyrics so I know when to change and get the right rhythm?

Hmm... I'd have to play it to figure it out. From memory, and using my version (as opposed to Mari's) it goes something like this...

[Bb]Why do you come [F]around
[Gm]So very mu[F]ch
[Cm]You know it just brings you [Dm]down
[Eb]It's just something you c[Dm]an [F]touch...

[Gm]Anyone at all
[Cm]Could see what was missing
[Dm]See you were dying
[Cm]But no one was crying...

[Bb]Red rover, red rover, red rover
[Eb]We've come, we've come, we come
[Bb]to take you over
[Eb]Take you o[Bb]ver
[Eb]Red Ro[Bb]ver

That's how I do it. I am going to try to play it Mari's way to see if it works for me. I like this way because it's fairly straightforward.

Here's how I worked out my version of it: I listened to the song while trying to strum along or trying to pick the chords. After a few tries just to get the feel of the song, I had to turn off the recording and learn to play it at my own pace. I found I could not do it at the tempo Lindsey uses. It's too freaky-deaky spastic. So I turned it into a basic 4/4 tempo. Works for me. Doesn't sound too much like the original, but I enjoy it anyway.

I just listen to the notes I hear and find them on my guitar. But I think you could write this out for two guitars, with sometimes different chords played at the same time.

no, I don't think it is either, but I can't figure out the fingerpicking pattern *if there is one!* ..yet.
