Default Melbourne Tusk Shows. Which one is it???

Ok I have a question. There seems to be two bootlegs out there of the Tusk Melbourne shows. One is labled as 3/3/80 and the other one is 3/11/80. I had the 3/11 show and just recently received the show labled 3/3 thinking they were going to be different. Wrong! They are the same. The show I am talking about is soundboard and has the version of "Sara" that kind of has an echo effect.

So my question is: Does anyone know if there are two Tusk Melbourne shows out there that are actually different - or is this just a mistake made by traders guessing as to which date this is? (they actually played in Melbourne 5 times on that tour so I guess it's anyone's guess as to what is the correct date) Any help on this would be appreciated and hopefully clear up some mislabeling mistakes in the trading community.

Also one more question....if anyone knows. I just received another show from San Diego labled as 3/77. I've checked the tour dates here and it is unknown what the actual date is. I've also seen this show labled as 10/3/77. I believe the actual date is the March one as they comment during the concert how the album was just released and they still play "older" songs such as "Why" and "Believe Me."

Anyway, if anyone knows the answers to these questions it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ali,
The same thing happened to me with the 2 Melbourne boots. They are definitely the same show. The show labeled 3/11 has a higher volume level than the show labeled 3/3. I believe someone just upgraded the volume level of the original 3/3 show and somehow the upgraded show started getting labeled as 3/11. I believe the correct date is 3/11, by the way. Right before "Songbird", Christine says there will be 1 more show in Melbourne before they move on. According to the Tusk tour itinerary, 3/12 was their last show in Melbourne.

The San Diego 1977 show is definitely not from 10/3/77. I believe they stopped playing all those great older songs in March, so I'm sure that show was from sometime in March, but I don't know the exact date.

I hope this helps.
