I'm well and truly convinced that she's singing....

"I know just what you feel, I know just what you want... why can't you tell me that you're feeling like I do... and I do... and you know every time I look into your eyes, I just can't escape... can't escape... 'cuz I'm locked up inside your eyes forever, baby...."

My favorite is the way she sings "and the guardian of your challenge does not cry" at the end of Blue Lamp.

Also, the last lines of Battle of the Dragon.

I'm in love with her, "You're very powerful" at the end of Love Is

Has that ever stopped Stevie before? "And give her some Christmas angel"?

That's what she sings and I'm sticking to it; she never utters the word "locked" once at the end.

In IIWY, I've always thought "I just can't escape" part was "It's a careless game ... careless game". But now after reading everyone else's post, I'm not sure what to think.

Also, I love the ending of "Blue Lamp", and I never knew the lyrics until Enchanted came out. I always thought the last line was saying something to the effect of, "Don't deny your child the stars bright..."

One other thing: In the long "Castaway" demo (the "Don't rain on our parade, Tom..." one), I've always heard the lyrics to be "talking 'bout your midstream changes ... midstream changes." But, I looked up that song once at the Stevie Nicks Underground, and it's listed as "mystery changes".

Turn up your Miracle-Ear, Myrtle!

I definitely hear "locked up" in there, and always have.
And some of the words that I clearly hear her saying, are missing from your transcription!

No wonder we all have such vastly different opinions on Stevie's songs... none of us hear them the same way!

No, but it's part of Stevie that makes her extra-much-more-fabulous than others

Yeah, but it's "Go find some Christmas angel, and give that to her"

Maybe you should do what JS suggested and turn up the volume on the miracle ear

I swear, that song and those howls make me think of The Exorcist...don't know if that's a good thing or not.
LOL - Can you imagine Stevie saying/wailing "I am NO ONE!"

Oh, gosh, there are too many good fade-outs and I'm brain dead, it's Friday afternoon. Time to "go hoooooooooooooome" and ponder this one.

Because she doesn't say them! Wait until an acapella master reel surfaces, I'll be proven right.

Yes! "Wish it to end, wish it to end, wish it to end."
