excerpt from article:

"The Beach Boys showed the way, and not just to California. Sure, they may have sold the California Dream to a lot of people, but for me, it was Brian Wilson showing how far you might have to go in order to make your own musical dream come true."

"In the beginning, I was someone who grew up in California and was a lover of the early music that he and the Beach Boys made. Later, I would relate to Brian's struggle as an artist against a machine that tended toward serving the bottom line."

I just saw this yesterday! I am so attracted to Lindsey I felt all red just reading his words, I imagined him spending all night in bed jotting down notes like a little school boy. LOL.

I like what he had to say and I know he means it. At least we know he's honest...the story never changes!

I like the part about being in 6th grade and music he heard! He remembers so much about the music, it was his life! But only then do I realize the other generation he's from. Even my mom is 10 years younger than he is-he seems so ageless to me...not someone who is almost 30 years older!!!

Anyway, this seems to be a Lindsey thread, not a Rumours thread...should someone move this??
