Question I've Been Loving You Too Long

I have seen this listed as a TITN era outtake. Is that correct? It sounds earlier than that to me . . .

It's a song they rehearsed on the Mirage tour. I don't think it was ever INTENDED to go on tour with them but that's when they played it.

Not a bad little off the cuff version of an old Otis Redding tune.

Yeah, I doubt they ever really planned to play this on a tour. When you're rehearsing for several weeks, you just start playing everything you know during the down time -- you inevitably start screwing around -- & that's probably what Fleetwood Mac was doing here. In fact, it's part of a collection of tapes that were leaked of Tusk & Mirage tour rehearsals. I'm not sure whether this particular tape is Tusk (September 1979) or Mirage (August 1982) rehearsal, but I've always guessed it was the latter.

Is there an MP3 of that we can download? That sounds like a good song!

Back when I had kazaa last year I downloaded this and was totally blown away. Too bad they didn't do this, I'm sure it would have been AMAZING.
